could i get some help? i cant naturally rotate or scale vertexes when in this checkered way, only if 2 connecting vertexes are selected. i can however scaling down with alt s but I cant find a way to rotate. is there an option for this somewhere?
@@digitherobot actually, i found out all was wrong was the origin point lol!!! i only thought about it after I went to bed, so yeah mess with that until it works
when i do alt + e the selected vertices in uv editing turn into a single vertex instead of the verticies turning into a square. is there a way to fix that?

enable the uvsquare plugin, im not sure how to get it in the newer blender versions though

it creases the mesh so if you use a modifier like subdivision, it wont smoothen it out
