You do an excellent job communicating. Not just boots, but probably anything you know. A great skill. Reviews are always focused and organized. I welcome your insights beyond boots if you find something cool.
Good review Teik. It's not what we in the US would call fleece, it's flannel and called the flannel-lined jacket. I have the Havana color, it's about a year old. It's weathered quite nicely, probably better than what a tan one would if that's what someone is looking for. It's a good jacket, all your points are spot on. I find it good for 35F or so degrees up to say 50 and in light rain. My only quibble and it's a small one is the loose stitching.
While you're technically correct, the traditional difference between flannel and fleece is just the material used. Flannel is cotton and fleece is synthetic, like polyester. The Flint and Tinder would fall under the fleece category, but the company refers to it as flannel.
Great review, maybe the best for this jacket. I have one in the same size in coal. Love it. The more I wear it, the more comfortable it gets. For those wondering about size, I’m 5’9.5” with a 40.5” chest and roughly 17.5” shoulders and the MEDIUM is a perfect fit
Liked that you mixed it up with the jacket bc as you acknowledged, you have to wear something with the boots! Lol - Love the channel…all the way from Cincinnati, Ohio
Maybe my all time favourite jacket. I have it in the 'forest' colour, which is a kind of grungy, green-brown. I did take a seam ripper to lose that gaudy label attached to inside pocket, but apart from that I love it. It's a lot softer than the three Rogue Territory supply jackets I have (two in waxed canvas, one in selvedge denim).
I think it's a terrific jacket, and I really like it. I got mine in moss green and use it a couple during a vacation. The media pocket was very useful to carry my smartphone, but yeah, it's has an odd shape. Mine is L, and yeah, I've noticed the sleeve are a little too long, sometimes it bothers me, but no so frequently to make it a deal-breaker. Thank you for the no-boot related video.
I’ve recently strayed away from the “lumberjack waxed canvas worker dude” look. I think I’ll be buying a Thursday leather jacket which fits me a bit more nowadays.
Badass jacket Teik. I have the exact same one. I get so many comments on it when I wear it. I also have the Havana Waxed Shirt Jacket with the orange lining. It is also a great piece.
I have the Outlaw. It's ok. Probably gonna buy the Flint & Tinder or the Tom Beckbe jacket. I like Kuhl but anything they make an American brand probably makes better. Kinda like Thursday boots. You can do better.
Hi Teik, I have been eyeing an unlined version of this jacket for a while now. I currently live at the equator and this is going to be my first article in waxed canvas. The unlined version for me comes with a bonus costing a lot less at USD228. I have also lived in Perth for 6 years so I should have an idea how the weather is there. I would like your opinion on how your lined version holds up in Perth's weather across the year. Do you think it'll be madness to have this in a hot country?
@@Bootlosophy Well, that sounds like it'll only be good for a night time water resistant jacket if I do get it. The good news is even if I don't end up getting it, I found a 10% coupon that still works (HBGT10) for now and Huckleberry will ship international for free for any order over USD198. It means the lowest I can get the unlined trucker waxed jacket is at USD 205.20 with free shipping. So some in the audience might want to take advantage of that.
@@Bootlosophy That's good to know. Thanks for the quick reply. I'm really enjoying your channel. As a result of your reviews and other reviews I have just ordered my first pair of Grant Stone Diesel boots and Thursday sneakers.

Damn, that’s a compliment, thank you!
Great review. Jacket looks good on you.
I have been on the fence deciding to get the jacket. May get it this fall.

One of my all time favourite jackets, it looks good on you. I had to order a bigger size to get a more comfortable fit.
I’m skinny!
I just brought this jacket 2 weeks ago. Great minds think a like. I can’t use for a few more months because I’m still in summer months.
Thanks Teik!
Hello there - excellent work as always…would appreciate such non boot reviews here & there…

Jacket-losophy. I can see your next channel now. 😊
🤣🤣🤣
Hey Teik, I was about to ask you for that jacket 😂 It looks amazing!!
Even though you do not fancy the shorter nature of trucker jackets, that one looks good on you. 👍
Have seen the Ship John Willis Jacket yet ? You may like it but it’s long wait for it right now.
Superb! keep posting none boots reviews I am new subscriber and find in really helpful.
Good stuff! I have the Rogue Territory and like the slimmer fit a lot.
Do you think you will start a jacket collection to go with the boot collection I know that's how I am
I have been eyeballing these for 2 years now.
They’re nice

mind if you can say what size you got? tryng to find my size
Very nice jacket Teik and great review. I've hankered for one for a while but I think I'll wait until the $AU is a bit better against the $US. $
Thanks, nice review, as usual! It would be great if you review the Kühl Outlaw Waxed Canvas Jacket.
Hmmm, gotta look that one up
I have the Outlaw. It's ok. Probably gonna buy the Flint & Tinder or the Tom Beckbe jacket. I like Kuhl but anything they make an American brand probably makes better. Kinda like Thursday boots. You can do better.
Nice jacket!
Great review but I agree about length of sleeves. I think that would put me off.

Ummm I think so. Even in Perth’s cool spring I get sweaty

More gear.
Do you have to worry about the wax coming off and staining car seats or other furniture that you sit on?
It does a bit in the first few days

Why when i check the Market it's not awesome like this you have, and the boots too
?
How do you handle the one asymmetric breast pocket? To me it would feel one boot with a cap toe and the other without?
Yeah, a little odd
You always recognize a Australian tribe in the beginning. What is the spelling, I want to read up on them.
Whadjuk
Last of Us was an amazing show. Clickers not Zombies
it looks a bit big on you.
I think it fits the way I like it, I don’t like to be strangled 😁
No boots, …no thanks.
