Absolute LOL at all the ppl who have never competed in powerlifting talking shit about arch and ROM. I guarantee all of you could arch as much as you want (probably won't be much) and still not even be able to unrack 418lbs (that's what he benched), let alone 2.5+ times your personal bodyweight. It's also safer for your shoulders to arch, coupled with the fact that arching biomechanically puts your chest at an advantage for both bodybuilding and strength. FACTS Also, I'm a 74kg competitor and all his numbers are ridiculous, as is his WILKS
you use words like fact and biomechanically there do not compute with bro lifting. flat back is safer and makes you more of a man. in fact while you are at it your elbows need to point to the sides and be as far away from your body to get the 90 degree angle. thats what give you a big chest. hahahaha
Im 215, bench 475 and I have never once competed, and I can tell you that this arch is BULL SHIT. Facts?
