I absolutely love these interviews. We all recognize the ability and talent of these individuals, but to get a glimpse of what natural and humble people they are is wonderful. The cherry on top ❤
@@enigmaticbird lol I was about to say the same thing. Not only does he seem to surround him self with good people. And because he's such a beautiful soul his followers seem to genuinely be good people to. This RUclips renegade community is one of the coolest things that just goes to show that we can have faith in humanity and I'm proud to be a part of this. Everyday after work and sometimes during if I can I go straight for it. Listen to good music and chat with good people. It helps me get thru my otherwise stressful day. Thank y'all so much
I loved this interview it felt so natural and you both asked questions that aren’t quite common which allowed for Joe to get into more depth. He deserves his flowers and I love that you both acknowledged Ren but focused on him and just how important his craft is and his hard work BTS x
"player" He took her to the carpark 😂 (it's a great video btw) Joe & Vik are such great candid guys (and comedic duo apparantly ... see challenge video) Loving this
Loving the jacket BP. Seen you modelling it a couple of times now.. love it❤ Edit to add: How rude of me not to mention joe. I found him via TheWolf too and subscribed to his youtube. Only just followed his instagram and have to say wow.. fabulous to see that platform being used for what it is designed....photograhy. Love the art on display there. ( my gripe with instagram is the form it now takes on my feed at least. Lotsa elebs taking selfies and selling shit! Sorry for the rant!!! ) ❤❤
I’m so old! I worked at MTV NY when they launched MTV Asia in the 90s. Part of me wanted to apply for that venture, but I was a big chicken and stayed in NY until I read the tea leaves in the early 00s and music was on its way out. Sad days. 😢
Joe is wonderful and I am so happy that you gave him his flowers! You are really also someone who wants to lift others up BP, I admire that. Keep going, I love it.
What a charming ,creative man . I recently saw his challenge to wolf Johnson, and i immediately subscribed to him, and Vic . I am very excited to see were he is going . Doing this interview put a face and a story to this amazing artist . All the best to you Joe . I just wanted to add if he is trying to create some humor, the challenge video to wolf was hilarious. Which is why i immediately subscribed.
Now... when I listen to interviews like this... and then read favorite poems... I hear so much overlap !!! IF (by Rudyard Kipling) If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too; If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don't deal in lies, Or being hated, don't give way to hating, And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise: If you can dream - and not make dreams your master; If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools: If you can make one heap of all your winnings And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings And never breathe a word about your loss; If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!' It was your talk about the risks of putting your creativity out into the world that reminded me of this poem. The collaborations are such an offset. Glad to see your friendships deepen.
I'm 52 and i'v moved 36 times, we say there are 2 reasons people move that much one is army and the other is oil, my dad was oil. We also did up alot of houses so 3 areas i lived in we had 3 houses in each area, village or town, i also count a caravan we lived in for 5 months while our new house was being built pure hell. Due to moving so much i'm not botherd about moving because its easy to meet new people and make friends but its also easy to leave people behind. My biggest culture shock was moving from near Glasgow, Scotland to Surrey in England, yeh our accsents stood out but how much warmer it is in Surrey was crazy. I have lived in Australia, Malasia and Hong Kong, but England was more of a shock.
Learning how to successfully interview folks is a skillset like many others. And it's nice to see you working with emerging artists to highlight them and mutually elevate everyone's process.
Y’all just rock in a whole different way with these interviews!! Thanks for taking the dive we love so much!! Make me want to invite y’all to the next back yard BBQ!!
Great interview! Looking forward to seeing what Joe comes up with. Vik is awesome, too. Definitely keep an eye on both of these people. They are going places.
I just want to say. That like Eminem, as you said, may jump on an unknown producers beat. he did it because of the quality of the beat. Joe caught those moments because, I'd guess, through disciplined patience, creating a relaxed, unintrusive atmosphere. Then knowing when the arc of the moment he was waiting for to hit it's peak and identifying it to capture those shots. Yes Ren's a huge plus but what if another photographer didn't have the presence of mind to enact that enviroment and failed to create those moments or missed them.
The first bit resonates with me as I was born in Singapore and spent my school years in Germany as I was a forces brat too.. making friends and losing friends when they get posted etc .Definitely a culture shock when i moved back to civvy life in the UK in 1983 (I'm 56 ). Discovered this channel via Ren reactions ,absolutely love your stuff keep it up.. Anyway I best carry on with this vid ,so far so good !!
What an interesting person and perspective! And so cool to see how this conversation also gave us a chance to get to know Don and Black Pegasus better - keep up the good work!
YES!!! This was a Great interview!!! It is Fascinating to see and hear from the talented humans who are NOT in front of the camera. They are hidden starlight who make the front guys shine so brightly. They are SO important to the creation of wonderment. Today's interview with Joe Flack was so interesting and now I am HIS Fan and will be searching to find all of the work of his that I can find! HOORAY for this interview and HOORAY for Joe letting his face be seen. He is a precious human. Thank you So Much for this interview. Please do more of these interviews with creative people! I Love Them!!
Hit that thumbs up early in the video right after Don talked I'm just going to assume that this interview is Superfly✊💯🎭. P.S. when you going when you gonna send me that Sick Boi jacket BP😏
What a fascinating interview! Joe is such a talented, amazing artist and it was great getting to know more about him. He is inspiring me to get my camera back out and work on my photography as well. Great job BP! Keep up the amazing content ❤
Really enjoyed this interview 👍😊 Nice flow in it and interesting questions. Will check out Joe's work more for sure, I love photos and every single one tell a story. Loved the BTS photos Joe took during the filming of Sick Boi 😍 Keep up the good work!
Shit this interview just got way more interesting. I lived on a boat for 6 years and then lived in Singapore from 91-94 before coming back to the U.S. to live and the culture shock was huge for me. The country I was born in turned out to be the most foreign feeling place I've ever lived in. I don't feel like I have much in common with other Americans.
I love that you two and Joe E. are highlighting the BTS crew, as well as the face of the collective, because it takes a lot of different talents to make music videos, and music photography, and artistic media in general. It take makeup artists, and set designers, and lighting people. These are folks that used to be in a position that, unless you were in that industry, you wouldn't know who they were, in the past. Social media is giving them a chance to be seen, as well as potentially being a great networking tool.
So loving your interviews with these talented humans. Kudos for supporting & highlighting those who are behind the scenes, supporting & nurturing the growth of other artists. Joe is genuine & humble and has the magic in his eyes and hands when he captures his amazing images & stories.
BP, I've been curious, have you ever reacted to THIN LIZZY? You use his theme song (Boys Are Back in Town), what what, h aha. It'd be cool if you reacted to them. The singer/bassist is an icon of rock and a unique cat.
That was a brilliant interview - absolutely loved it ! Loved the chat too - cool to see Joe, Vik & Wolf in there. Great fun (BTW why does your theme tune say "Thank you for being cement" ?)
Yep I did enjoy that interview very much and I have found that you were my go to television fellow. You guys are very entertaining. Thank you. Oh by the way BP are you connected with the atmosphere concert at red rocks.?
Awesome job guys. Love content like this and brings home the hard work people put into making great art as an individual and the mutual support to get other artists visions become a reality.
Its when AI enables sentient Androids to create street art the threat to creatives will be here...... Blade Runners & many other books , movies . comics etc have warned us...lol
Let’s support this man! Tell um I sent you! ruclips.net/video/hT4BtiIjvxU/видео.html
Done 😁😁
💟
❤
I got all the way through the interview without realising he's the guy that challenged Wolf. He's hilarious 😂
Already done, and Done!
I absolutely love these interviews. We all recognize the ability and talent of these individuals, but to get a glimpse of what natural and humble people they are is wonderful. The cherry on top ❤
Agreed, Ren seems to be surrounded by genuinely talented, creative people who all also seem genuinely decent souls too. ❤

Steven seagal just picked up that movie idea and turned it into a straight to dvd action film, it's called photographer marked for death!
Loved the interview . Love your sic boi jack as well. Really like when Don manages to join in on the cast.
Great interview
