I am a older woman with hair texture like yours and before your videos I have always used Suave because it worked the best on my hair but I will be making a switch to some of your hair products to see how they work on my hair. If you are trying to straighten your hair try mizani's thermasmooth line I have natural hair and it works wonders. It's kinda pricey but it's worth it. It's the only thing that will straighten my hair.

You should get a ceramic straightening brush, I think that's what they're called. They look like straighteners but have the soft blow drying type bristles. Cuts straightening time waaay down & makes your hair straighter, smoother & softer.

We have very similar hair except I'm Dominican and my curls are a little more loose I give up when straightening cause it never looks good I'll deff try this straightener hopefully it works as good as it did on you

Denman brush, high heat + high speed, and Chi Silk Infusion will get your blow out straighter, quicker. Your hair here is about half as straight as it can be when blown out. It'll also make it so you don't have to use such a high heat with the flat iron, my daughter and I have thick tiny coils (not 4c hair), and we never use any more than 350 degrees and it lasts about 2-3 weeks silky straight.
Other than that, I love your hair, curly and straight, you as well as your hair are absolutely gorgeous!

I straightened my hair for the first time yesterday and my hair was really far past my chest people thought I was wearing a wig 😂 I also thought I was gonna go crazy because it took me over 4 hours to do 😫 but I'm happy with it!

+Victoria Tiger not getting it trimmed also makes it really short when you do get the dead ends off. I had really long hair, then got my ends trimmed and it made it really short cause of how dead it was.
+Desirea Marie I said that because you can tell she hasn't had a trim because her ends looked fried.... A lot of girls try to pull one over with long hair by not trimming it when in all actuality you can tell they just don't cut it

I use a wet to dry flatiron on my hair and have not suffered any heat damage. My hair is almost to my tailbone. Also, by using the wet to dry, I only have to do 1 process and I don't have to use the blowdryer.
I also have very curly hair and straighten it often, but all I could think about the whole time watching is all the hassle us girls go to for nice hair. It's crazy!!

Healthy criticism: a lot of the things you did in this video were heat damaging: hair isn't supposed to be heat past 425 your hair would straighten exactly the same, you HAVE to put heat protectant before you blow dry and as well as in every piece when flat ironing. I know you say you don't do it often but it doesn't really matter you should put as little damage to your hair as much as possible. But it looks great 😂
My heat protectant it a spray so what I do is I spray it on my brush and brush through my hair so I wouldn't have to do every piece like you said
We have the same length #hairgoals I been natural my whole life but it always take me 4 hours to flatiron my hair whenever I flatiron it and I don't put much heat in my hair I keep natural and curly ! I love my curls

to blow out ur hair use a Denman brush and a concentrator nozzle on your blow dryer on your book dryer it will help with your straightening process

when people with curly hair straighten their hair it just looks frizzy and not smooth. if you do want straight smooth hair, i would recommend washing ur hair give it a nice treatment with a mask. then section your hair and wrap pieces of hair (wet) smoothly around rollers. then just dry it with a drying cap and after 2/3 hours take the rollers out and blowdry it with a brush. you'll see, it takes a lot of time it actually takes my whole day but the results will be worth it. this how all dominican women do it
i love my hair i try to use less heat so i have just like 7 to 9 split end with definitely are not there anymore because i cut my hair just a little to even it out so it's so striaght and healthy

You should try using rollers instead of immediately blow drying, it makes straightening 100x easier and it comes out 10x better
