Yeah black people's hair shrinks because where are hairs as curly as out not heard it's really curly like it before guys like they can come out there and it's way longer than what we thought it would be

@@tundrawomansays5067 It was 2 decades ago (I was 9 years old at the time). I don't really remember much except my hair was very full and long after it was pressed. Also it was my cousin who pressed my hair when I got it pressed for the very first time. She wasn't really experienced as she was 22 years old back then. And when she pressed my hair, she used the hot comb all the time unlike the lady in this video.

Wow... I think that the best for that type of hair are small braides as smartly done in Africa, to small kids (I see that eventually many of them get tired and have short hair or use a wigs, in Africa). I have European 1a straight hair, our daughter is 21- 2b - she figured up alone how to treat it the best (now I see that there are many videos). Good luck to you!

My hair is straighter than straight, so I am not sure what I am doing here but it is so beautiful to see how much time, effort and love you put into doing her hair.
It is entertaining and informative, and helps us straight-hairs be sympathetic.

Hey @roline emba I have 4c hair. And whenever I get a silk press (once a year). My hair dresser blow dries my hair, presses it with the hot comb, and then uses the flat iron. She also makes sure my hair isn’t to oily when she presses it because that can make you hair look (not as straight) like a blowout.
You might be using too many/too thick products. Just deep condition properly and use a light heat protectant nothing else.
What temperature do you set your straighteners to?
could be a bunch of different things. heavily damaged hair will never completely straighten. you absolutely need a good blowdry before you flat iron. don't use too much product. use the right temperature for your hair. make sure your hair is 100% detangled beforehand. use one slow pass on each section.
That was so amazing how you were able to detangle her hair...my hair has been the same way for a while and my mom 👩 has been trying to keep it from being damaged...I would really love to have my hair just like that

It is a constant struggle to find a flat iron that does not break my hair. The flat iron you used in this video also has a a great width to it to heat more hair for each passing. Would you be able to share which flat iron that one is that you are using here for her hair. I would absolutely appreciate it to finally be able to use one that causes my hair to be styled without breaking it.
