They should bc as someone who just watched the show, him with Eve would feel more forced I feel like, they seems to view each other as friends for the most part, and nothing in their relationship let me think that they became something more before that Eve from another universe. Idk how it's going but I felt like he had something pretty solid with Amber at least@@josephkerrigan733
Because the writers fucked her in the first season with that one scene. In the comics, amber has far less presence, but Kirkman developed her when she was there. She’s far more reasonable and the reveal of marks identity was sweeter.
I don't know am I just dumb or something but I don't remember that scene ending with a break-up Maybe I'm just used to writers keeping that relationship for so long or something...
@@JWheel5 it was a dire circumstance with him dating Amber in the first place. Fate is setting the final stage for Eve to become Mark's wife. She already has his heart. 😀
I had no idea this was them breaking up, thought they were just talking about how to fix their relationship or something. Was very confused when everyone was saying they broke up and thought i missed an episode, oddly vague here
I thinks it’s only “vague” because they didn’t exactly say they were breaking up, its simply implied. They knew they couldn’t “fix” the relationship because nothing was going to change. Invincible wasn’t going to stop being a hero and Amber wouldn’t even dream of asking him to stop for her sake. Amber had seemed to have made the decision while mark was off fighting Anissa so this mostly pulled the rug out from under Mark because he didn’t expect this conversation and Amber planned on having it IF he had come back ( not knowing if he was gonna die and all ) At the end they simply realized that it wasn’t practical for them to be together and they knew that by their line of talk, so they didn’t have to say it out loud. Also notice how she said she “tried” to live in Marks world. Meaning past tense so she was done right there. Once mark started crying is where he understood what was happening. Yet it could’ve also been said “off screen” but that doesn’t matter exactly. P.S. SHOUT OUT TO THAT FUCKIN PIANO
Feels bad to say "Finally...", but this scene is genuinely sad.
Hopefully the writers don't try to force her back into the story later on by deviating from the comic.

@@crc_mids8608 she also cheated but weird comic fans standards ig. And she was ok in s2 so I don't get your point
Calling Anissa "Mark’s girl problem" is a understatement.

The amber we should have gotten in season one instead of fly away fly boy.

It was hard to have a toast when the occasion had such dire circumstances.
