I cannot in good faith continue to only lift weights and consider my cardio a 30 minute session on the stairstepper after watching this video. Been a supporter for a while and will be only buying my supps from BPN going forward. Been on the hybrid fence for a while as well but I'm committing 100% going forward. This man is a huge damn inspiration and I look forward to shaking your hand one day and thank you for showing what's possible through commitment and hard work.
As always, this Hyrox prep has been very valuable and inspiring. I have adjusted my training and copied some of your workouts and I am seeing some improvements. But, the main thing I did was login my workouts and even rest days to be able to analyse and quantify progress - I am using Notion for this and made a little database that I can easily check which exercises are progress and which are staying behind. Looking forward to see the results on November 23rd 👏🏾 Keep up the hard work, father-business owner-athlete life is certainly not easy but SO REWARDING!

Can’t wait to try the caffeinated gels for my upcoming half marathon. Love supporting this brand as you know the products are top shelf and I feel like I am also helping to support someone who works so hard to build his brand and company.
I’m getting into Trail Running as part of training for my second degree WCWMA black belt test, and Nick’s videos are exactly what I need to get me in the right mindset before I go hit the trails, gym, or mats.
Nick, you’re the best! You’re the only person I know on RUclips who tracks your data like this. I do the same thing with my Garmin watch. You are truly one of the most knowledgeable people when it comes to training.
@@sixfootleotriathlete4581🙂 is a important element how you handle total volume, keep that mass tho you run so much etc, you recovery pattern looks so different when you are enhanced. That is important to be transparent about

One thing that really clicked for me watching you and Dr. Mike is that the mistake I’ve been making is trying to grow my athleticism and lose weight at the same time. You were dead on with fueling for performance, but often with weight loss we’re fueling for the minimum and not for improved performance. Performance can come laterz Thanks Nick for all you do!
If the videos are a true reflection of reality, you seem to be crushing the balance between work, relationship, training, and being a new dad of multiple kids. Well done, mate, not many get it right. I know I wasn't one of them, but now the kids are a little older, and I'm getting there now. 👍
I was thinking, man this has got to be the best shape this man has ever been in. Then he says "I think this is the best shape I've ever been in." Crazy inspiration to see his peak rise and rise and rise. Leading his fitness company by example is also amazing to see in this day and age of fake people that fizzle out.
I never thought 💭 I would be watching a 36 min infomercial but here I am. I used to make fun of my mom watching QVC, shout out to the OG infomercial 😂🤷🏻♂️…..
its really impressive to see your running progression trough the years especially considering your size im a 800 runner and lifter myself and idk if i could follow you on this workout
Great video! It actually aligns with some concepts I found in this book Magnet for Women by Borlest. It talks about how making small shifts in your behavior can really boost your confidence and attract the right people into your life. It’s more about self-improvement than anything else, which I found super interesting.”

I get motivated in good weather. I enjoy outdoor workouts. Seem to hate indoor. We have 4 months of winter and every year I literally seem to start over every Spring 😢. I need to come up with some new plan.
Same here. I live in Wisconsin. The best cure is to go out and do your workout in the cold. I had a job for several years working outside year round. That cured my aversion to the cold. Next progression was working on my tan in the snow lol. Treat it like you do your fitness routine. Crank up your cold exposure slowly over time and be sure to get enough protein. Anecdotally I stay warmer on a slightly lower carb diet. Not ideal though if your goal is to train like Nick.
@@functionalaestheticse.c.8953 I'm in Idaho. You're right, I could do it. I just need to. I do ski during the winter every week or two, but that just doesn't cut it. I need something a few times a week in addition to lifting weights. Time to stop excuses for me.
Really, really enjoying this series of you prepping for hyrox. This seems like a good video to ask a question I've wondered about. You eat ALOT of sourdough bread, it seems. Other than it being delicious, are there other reasons you prefer it to other types of breads???? Does it seem like it actually fuels you better??? Genuinely curious.
Random question but has Nick ever had any injuries that anyone can remember? I’ve been watching him for years now and honestly can’t ever remember him mention any sort of niggles or issue which is crazy to me given the amount of hard training he does. I know he takes care of himself and the strength work must really help but just surprised because even the top athletes with their big teams around them usually have something creep up on them!
Hey Nick can you give your mindset in limiting meal portion? I mean when you prepare your meal portion, you finish it, and that's it. No additional bite or anything. Some people just go off limit in meal portion, especially at night (binge eating).
My favorite thing about hybrid diet + training is that it isn’t the typical bodybuilder OCD about diet and eating disorder attitude about food. Hybrid athletes enjoy themselves more I think because they train better and can afford more quality calories without worrying about weight to the same extent at least. I will stick to endurance hybrid + strength training, bodybuilding is a dying horse I think
