Assume we are going to divide total number of locations into 4 (zones) and weekly do cycle count to cover total inventory within a month. A particular SKU (A)can be available in all these four zones. If we identify a discrepancy in Stock of SKU A in first zone, do we have to wait until we complete all 4 zones to identify if there really is a stock inaccuracy in SKU A?
Good morning. No you don't. You should be able to cycle count the bin in the first zone, and export the discrepancy to your WMS or ERP for that bin only. You should not have to wait for all bins to be cycle counted.
Do you do consulting for retail companys in the drug store industry? 2:21
