I just wanted to say thank you very much for the commentary during the fight clips. As a person who is interested in PVP, currently sticking to battlegrounds on because i'm very intimidated by Cyro, I really appreciate sharing your thought process on how to approach fights, select targets, survive, coordinate with your teammate while having his back, and your tips on priority targets. I learned so much in just these last few minutes.

It's very difficult, there's better overall builds for sorcerer. However, it's the most rewarding knowing you can still do it the true Magicka Sorcerer way. This is probably the best way to build for 3 wards currently
Also, this is probably the worst meta to play in in eso history. Sorcerer cannot compete against high HP and the amount of passive/free dmg people have with procs and status effects just stacking 24/7. U will see a significant boost in power once (hopefully) the meta has shifted
@@AdamLAD very valid points. i used to run crafty with ancient myself a while ago. Even tho the above stated is true, it clicked feeling like a true sorc because of the shields. i just never got it to 50+k mag for some reason, only like 44ish. Thanks for the feedback man, you're absolutely right. i'll consider your advice crucial ^^
Hey brother Tysm for the video, just updated my Sorc! Was wondering if there’s a reason you have Ward on your front bar instead of Curse? I have Curse in place of it that way my shields are all on my back bar, but am I missing out on something that way?
The question I've been asked for years ! Yes, there's a few reasons.
1st: Many people have an offence and defence bar. However, that's not optimal as if you need to be defensive and you are NOT on your correct bar, you will be dead. With having wards on both bars, I do not need to swap bar to cast defensive ability.
2nd: Shields are the most casted ability on my mag sorc, and frags proc from casting magicka abilities. In terms of optimal chances to get a frag proc, it makes sense to put it on the same bar of a sheild.
3: Curse is a timed burst ability and makes no difference, so as long as you are on the front bar when it bursts (extra dmg). Years ago, I made my rotation to be perfect. I added extra light attacks and extra ability casts so that it all lines up with curse burst, I found adding a bar swap made no difference in terms of getting it timed well.
4: Had it on the back bar for years. Rotation is muscle memory. I don't even think about casting it, it just happens automatically. It's engreained within me

@AnbuXC. Worth the switch. Xbox EU is so dead and when u do fight players there all veterans of PvP so fights last about 10 years.

what do you think about blackrose resto staff backbar on your setup ? can the extra healing be worth or would it be too much of a sustain loss ?
You can defo do it. You would just drop ancient grace, put 1 trainee peice on jewellery extra. And willpower front and then blackrose back

@adnanelamrani6659 you wouldn't loose too much max magicka then but gain a better heal ! And since you have so much magicka, you can afford to drop some of it
What would you change in this build for a 1vX scenario
Nothing. However, it's flexible. You swap food around. I recently tried Ghastly eye bowl and it works for me great. However some other people may prefer higher HP. Its all player dependent. I will say that spinners is also a good shout over alfiq if u want a bit more dmg but less survival
I guessing for your more beginners friendly setup would probably be your setup with trials for more defences and maybe inner light on the front bar for 1 less skill in the rotation while we're learning.
Either way love your content where your damage is all on your skills rather than gear sets. A more skill based setup. Great work 👍
Always tried to keep my builds as "skillfull" as possible. I do not enjoy playing knowing that the build is doing most things for me. If I can kill people I want it to be through skill and not terrible balance win it for me
you ripped me few months ago in eso, it inspired me to try sorc which i never played before hah

Your spell dmg and pen seems verry low 🤔 Im currently sitting at just under 51k max mag, 4.7k spell dmg and 16k pen (without debuff).... 1.6k mag regen 2.1k stam regen.
Our builds are not far different, just I don't use Mythics on my sorc.
Going full out glass cannon on magSorc is way more successful then a more tanky shiald stacking playstyle imo.. keep up the good work 👍🏼
I'm close to glass cannon with 25k/29k HP, depending on the food im using and all that dmg cp. The reason I can take a beating is because I can keep wards up 24/7. I'd rather be able to take a hit as the situations I find myself require it. Especially for a 2vX where your teammate is significantly slower if they not a sorc

can i use sugar skulls instead of orza, with pot up i still get 2.1k mag rec and i also use ele drain?
If you use dark deal, yes. If you don't, then you will not have enough magicka sustain. 2.1k buffed is not enough to be able to keep wards up all the time, unfortunately. Zenimax seriously needs to lower the cost of them

Absolutely 💯. I'd probably swap 1 arcane out for infused on the jewellery. Or you could use dark exchange/morphs for more sustain over healing ward as high elf has better stamina sustain

Any idea what your friend is using here?
He was using the gaze of Sithis, the way of the fire front bar with charged bow, relequen back bar ice staff. (It might of been the other way round not sure) 1pc dmg monster set on shoulder. Then the rest trainee. All damage cp. Quite literally full dmg
However I told him to change way of the fire to draugerkin and he preferred that on the front bar. Both work very well, however.
@@AdamLAD ah that explains how he was putting so much pressure on them. Too bad relequen is a trial set so i cant bother getting it 😅 thanks tho ive never managed to get a decent build on stamsorc that works for me

The old school way of playing, yes. There's new builds out there that are 40k hp. I'd rather not use it, I'm not a fan of using builds that are "carry," so to speak. I don't get any enjoyment out of knowing the builds allowing you to go beyond what you're normally capable of. If others want to abuse it, then by all means, abuse it 🤣🤷
