I love old equipment, there some old city courses here in slc that set up for older equipment, finding good balls is the hard part, pro platinums were great for persimmon. It is too bad you couldn't have scored a Nicklaus response, would have been the perfect fit for that bag and location. Love this content btw!
I still game a Titleist 910 D3. I think I bought it in 2014 or 15. Still a great driver to this day, even if my brother broke it and now the new shaft is worth more than the driver.

You realise its equivalent to a 3w, so its probably not actually that great, and very difficult to hit. You could probably get the same out of a modern driving 3 iron.

This took me back. I upgraded and got all my clubs at Bonaventure. My golf bag, balls tees etc. I used to go to wedges and woods and took my first lesson from Alex the first owner. Who also told us about joe's burgers in myrtle beach. I also hope that is not my yardage book I had when I caddies at Augusta when I lived there. I am missing one..lol
Wow! This is sooo crazy! I’ve been out of golf about 20 years or more. Back when I played, Boneventure was THE place to buy clubs. I’m in southeast Georgia and it seemed like it was a franchise that was worldwide. Never knew it was a small family run business.
You guys gotta check out Izett Golf right outside Philly. It’s less than 5 minutes away from Merion and without a doubt one of the coolest golf shops I’ve ever seen. They do some very bespoke club fitting going way beyond just track man data
love this. So much nostalgia with alot of those clubs you were picking up. I was a kid when alot of that stuff came out and you saw the ads in golf digest or see the clubs in the shop and you just wanted it. If you didnt have a Sabona copper bracelet, that left the green ring on your wrist, were you even a 90s golfer? Also my local pro had that giant Callaway Big Bertha driver promo as well. Great stuff
