I've seen so many people post this, but I have to agree with them: I *love* how Ethan and Ilsa don't have to talk to communicate. In fight scenes, they just know where the other is going. Here at 1:58 Ilsa barely says anything and he knows exactly what she's saying with her eyes. Great chemistry :)

This is why MI:RN is still my favourite of the series. Their story on that one really is a huge homage to Casablanca. Hell, Benji is to Ethan in that one what Sam is to Rick (another reason to love the film, all the Benji stuff is fantastic).
But I’d probably put Luther more in the Sam role than Benji and not just because he’s Black, but the energy of Luther and Sam as well as screen time and relationship is similar .
When they first meet at the beginning of "Rogue Nation," you can hear a hint of the musical theme from Puccini's "Nessum Dorma," specifically when they have eye contact. That will be a recurrent musical theme throughout the movie, hinting at their impossible love, just like Calaf and Turandot from the Opera. You can hear the music here at 0:45
