    Oh my gosh! Just getting back to the trumpet after 9 years and have a nice short high C already. Amazingly captured by utilizing 3 or 4 notes and super simple on the valves. I wish I knew about this half a century ago! I love your simplicity and openness to play along. Need lots of Chet Baker! Thanks so much!

    The chords are written in concert key or refers to the instrument key? As an example, the Bb chord is Bb or C in trumpet?

      That is correct. For trumpet players and other Bb instruments you would transpose up one whole step from concert key. I write in concert key for my videos because I have more than just trumpet players following along. It's also very beneficial for Bb players (and Eb players for that matter) to be able to transpose from concert key.

      Thanks for checking it out, but the link does indeed work. Just checked from two different devices on two different networks and was able to get through. Not sure why it wasn't working for you. Try clearing your browser's cache and try again.
