- This is a track that I featured during my Signals live stream back in October '19 which went unreleased. I decided to remake it as a standalone track, using the original samples with the Octatrack for the various arps and drums. A few samples also triggered with Bitbox, while the rest is improvised during recording or added in post.

Perfect theme for Blade Runner 3010 (Directors Cut)...
Simple triggers with complex underlying signal evolution. The way they are aligned feels very natural and well done. Boundaries are very nice. Nothing less than highly dynamical. A well finished texture IMO. Many listens & thanks

Later on with those more agressive accents and synths become more Cyberpunk'ish [and no, i am not on CP hype like most these days - old school paper and pen CP2020 player and Neuromancer fan ;)].
A feel you could have while riding on Shiva bike and leaving everything behind :) Then sitting on some highway to smoke a cig with a megacity behind your back :)

Great job! A track that I never get tired of listening to. In 2 moments (at 6:40 and 8:40) my spirit leaves my body, falling into a wonderful precipice
Yes!!!!!!!! That's it! There I want to pump up the volume. But it seems too much and inadequate in accordance to the rhythm at 07:21. More drama would make it perfect. In any case, I love it.

I might do one more Octatrack based track, then release an EP with these latest OT tracks.
Just a quick thought: The middle part of this song is incredible, like huge engines in spaceships or something. But since the middle part is so great, I have to say that the first and last 2-3 minutes don't quite do justice to the middle part enough. They're good, but the middle part could be perhaps better served with a different set of companions...

Man, I can't get enough of that Blade Runner style of lead! Is that coming from the Octabtrack? I finally bought DIVA the other day and I must say that is very good at those sounds. Amazing track!

I like it the one at the Signals livestream that you did it in October more than this new versión, I think that the chords that you used with very fine waveform strings there filling the whole melody and the improv was better. bigger
Well the improvised lead was always going to be different this time, I didn't want to try and copy the live stream 1:1. The strings are used only on the 2nd chorus part, it's the same sound and chords, only maybe mixed a little different. All in all, it's very subjective which one is better, (the livestream version also had some sync issues), but I'm glad to have a made a solo/standalone version of this track.
@@stateazure yes, music teaste it's always very subjective, it's just to me, my opinion, it was more like Vangelis kind of greatness the one at the first live stream, if I didn't hear that first one at all, yes, these one it's a nice track anyway, but for my teaste , that October signals live version like it more 👍, thanks for your great music sounds and composing teaste 😉

I didn't. The sound was already configured to respond to the mod wheel.

how are those sweep with stutter effect made? excellent work
It's a combination of two patches/synths, one from Serum and another from Diva. I think it was just LFOs to achieve the stuttering, and for the sweep (Serum bass) I just used some portamento or pitch-bending
