Well he's a Hog now! I'm excited to see what this young man will do at Arkansas in a Bobby Petrino offense. I hope our new O line coach gets that mess straightened out. It will be interesting to see what happens in the QB position for Arkansas as KJ hasn't entered the portal yet but it seems like everyone expects him to. One thing is for certain, Bobby P will start whomever he thinks will give his offense the best chance for success period. Seniority doesn't play into it, it's about who he thinks is best. Go Hogs! And welcome to the Hog Nation Taylen!

I gotta see him in his CFB debut last season against the Beavers. BSU was over matched and there's little he could do, but the energy and effectiveness of the offense picked up immediately. Not sure how the P5 programs missed him, he has top tier talent. I wouldn't comp him to Young, that's the knee jerk reaction people have to QBs with that build and look, they're doing it with Aiden Chiles at (for now) Oregon State. Like Chiles, Green comps better to Dennis Dixon (Ducks/Steelers); compact quick release, big arm, elusive in the pocket, and absolutely lethal if a running lane is available. Green ran on the Beavers, that's a huge statement.

@@darronwilliams4641 College football died in 2010...... when it was proven without any doubt that money ran everything and that ability to actually play the sport didnt matter....
Oregon jumping Boise State when they won 30 consecutive games (two of them literally against Oregon)
Oregon jumping TCU because they beat #5 Stanford by 21 at home, but then TCU beat #6 Utah by 40 on the road and TCU dropped in the rankings....
Auburn jumped TCU and Boise State, when they beat FCS Chatanooga by 28 at home, while TCU beat #6 Utah 47-7 on the road and Boise State beat #18 Hawaii 52-7
TCU ranked #4 in offense, #1 in defense, #2 in MOV
Boise State ranked #2 in offense, #2 in defense, #1 in MOV
TCU and Boise State had more ranked wins than Oregon. Boise State had a better offense and defense than Auburn. Boise State had a better defense than Oregon. TCU has a better offense and defense than Auburn. TCU had a better defense than Oregon.
The head to head Opponents is ridiculous. #6 Oklahoma beat Utah state by 7, Boise State beat them by 46. Oklahoma beat Air Force by 3, TCU beat them by 35. #3 Wisconsin beat San Jose State by 13. Boise State beat them 51-0. TCU beat them 66-7. Wisconsin beat UNLV by 12. TCU beat them by 46.
TCU went back to back undefeated in regular seasons, and became the only team in NCAA history to go undefeated and get jumped out of a national championship game by two lower ranked teams.
Boise State went 35-1 in 3 years. Went 12-1 on the season ranked #7 in the country, and missed a BCS bowl in favor of 5 teams that were ranked lower than them including an unranked 8-5 team. Boise State literally beat teams by 10+ more points on average than Uconn scored points per game, but somehow Uconn was considered a better quality opponent for Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl. Boise State literally beat Virginia Tech during the season, but VT made a BCS bowl over them.
      Basically proved that:
      1. Head to head wins dont matter
      2. Margin of victory doesnt matter exclusively for the G5
      3. Ranked wins dont matter exclusively for the G5
      4. Quality wins dont matter for the G5
      5. Performance on the field doesnt matter for the G5
      6. Wins over teams you beat doesnt matter for BCS selection for the G5
      7. P5 wins matter more than G5 wins regardless of who the P5 plays
      8. Head to Head Opponent MOV doesnt matter for the G5
So yeah the sport was proved to basically be a joke since this season.

@@MJGOAT I can guarantee you that TG10 would be devastated if you did that. BSU f'd up royally by treating him so poorly. Worse is that they are blaming Avalos but it was obviously Bush Hamden who was actually mishandling him, otherwise Taylen wouldn't have entered the portal. I have it on good authority that BAA is scrambling behind the scenes to gather additional incentives to offer him to entice him to stay. However, Taylen Green is exactly what the NFL is looking for in a QB and what BSU did to him (with Maddux) was incredibly abusive. For an athlete like TG his time in college must be 100% developmental towards his career aspirations and 2023 was a horrible setback for him. I hope he returns to BSU, but not unless Hamden is either put on a very short leash or else fired.

Neither is your comment. I pity spectators who believe that a player's game performance is solely under their control. His regression was due to the lack of support. TG10 was basically getting tortured under Avalos "2 QB system" you can't dillute the time a QB1 has with his position coach and expect him to flourish. Obviously now that Avalos is gone and MM is injured TG is getting the necessary reps during practice to perform at peak levels again.
