  • The latest vid from thelofty biker.......A first impressions review of the 2021+ Honda CBR650R Sport, regesterd in February 2023.......A modern development of the CBF600 not quite as focused as the CBR600RR but racier than a Sports Tourer....This 90bhp 4 cylinder rocket is a delight to ride.........A big thank you to Damerells of Indian Queens, Cornwall.

Great review. Loved watching you ride through the English countryside… my grandad and much of my family live in England, it’s where I come from. I miss them so much. Love from across the pond

This is the best review of this bike I've seen 👍

I have this bike with the quickshifter. It up shifts only (1st gen). No blipper. It has ABS, traction control and a slipper clutch. That's it for 'tech'. This bike is super reliable and engine as solid as a tank. Loves being thrashed. I changed out the factory springs front and back. Replaced with a Hyperpro set (about £300) and got a significant handling improvement. Only other change was dumping the factory rubber and put on some S22's - also big improvement. Never understand these people whose first 'go to' mod is big money on end cans and are ignorant to springs and rubber for improving performance and handling.

Putting a custom pipe, such as the Akrapović, makes this bike sound phenominal.

Cabled throttle that's why QS Up only. That only requires spark interruption. You need ride by wire to do QS Down to rev match and for any riding modes (throttle maps)

Hello from Brazil! Very nice review! I got the 2021 model which is the same as 2019 the EUA market. I bought the OEM seat cowl for the Grand Prix red color code R380, but the color seems to be a little darker compared with the rest of the bike. Do you know if this is normal? Thank you!!

Sincw 2021 this bike has been built in Red with ancillaries slightlyn different... I could not tell what the paint code is! You would need to contact your importer

I have asked the dealer...He said cbr650r was released in 2019 and the current model updated in 2021, with mild cosmetic updated since. The model I rode is like you have said a 2022 version regestered in Feb 2023...Sorry for the confusion....The cbr650 does indeed have a quick shifter but no blipper...If you own a CBR650R it's a great bike. Thanks for watching.

    There are no blipper😅
    It's not ride by wire.
So many rewiers putting out content not having a qlue about the bikes they are on.
Guess I have to look elsewhere for a contentcreator who cares of what content he put out.
How long would it take to read the spec of the bikes you ride, and give it a little thought.
It would make your content so much better than the 90% of the content on RUclips. Now you are just a nother rider with a camera rambling.
I like your style of video. Your video and audio are fine. Your editing are god. I just wished you cared.
(just my opinion, but I don't think I am alone)

    • @tevidar
      @tevidar Год назад +1

@@theloftybiker3090 I can understand that. Its just that when you and other contentcreators use the word review, you are setting your self up for a certain expectation of your video. I actually expect a review of the bike. If you used the title " my first Impression/experience with the ...." I would have no issues with your lack of knowlegde of the bike. Sorry for beeing a bit harsh. I am trying to be constructive in my critique.

It’s not a “super sport” but it’s the fastest in its class. You can find a few videos where it’s top speed is 160 mph and a bunch at 155 mph (I’m in the USA). I got one a couple of weeks ago and it’s got all I’ll ever need.
