If they lose and he throws 4 td’s then it is his fault they lost no matter how good his stats look. Mysteriously players like Burrow and Allen are praised no matter how they play. Imagine if Lamar had as much turnovers as Allen did last year, or if the ravens had the record the Bengals do. You all will quickly forget that Cam was in the same PAC-12 conference as Shedeur last year. They faced majority the same teams and had similar stats, everyone was just focused on Colorado. Cam finished 5-7 and Shedeur finished 4-8. Cam went from 0 star recruit due to a run heavy highschool, to a D1 FCS school, won the Freshman of the year award then the Offensive POY the next year (Shedeur did the same each year behind Cam), then transferred to D1 FBS school, won more games in the pac 12 than Shedeur, and now is on his 3rd team and undefeated while leading the league in points. Cam is showing he can be good in multiple offenses and not just his father’s. And if you want to talk to me about an O-line, talk to me about having no defensive support too. Cam has had to stay consistent just to save his defense multiple times.

  • @KennethSwann-wx6hu
    @KennethSwann-wx6hu 19 дней назад +1

    Additionally to Can Wards credit, his defense has been an issue and he’s had to bring his team back to win. Bringing your team back because the offense isn’t scoring isn’t the same as bringing your team back because you have to score almost every drive because your defense can’t stop a thing. Miami is literally leading the league in scoring because of Cam. If your team is number 1 in scoring and you have 3 comeback drives (in a row) in the season already, that tells the story.

    Shadeur will go top 5 and if he has a good oline he’ll be good day one. He’s been being coach by nfl players his whole life. The thought that he won’t translate when he’s been practicing for that very position his whole life doesn’t go hand and hand. I’m glad he stayed an extra year I think the extra year in college will help him.

    • @oomshaka6683
      @oomshaka6683 20 дней назад

      I wouldn't say that having the best coaching really means anything. It definitely helps but it's really all up to the person. NBA kids for example don't always turn into the stars there fathers are

    • @Clarkadoodledoo.
      @Clarkadoodledoo. 20 дней назад

      @ I’d have to disagree with you. NBA kids don’t make it because they don’t have discipline. That doesn’t mean having the best coaching or players around doesn’t mean anything. Ask tua if he thought coaching helped him his dad coached him into the ground he’d even hit him if he played horrible or Patrick mahomes who was coached hard in both football and baseball his dad being a former baseball player. If you wanna go nba ask Jason Tatum or Devin booker, they both practiced with Kobe Bryant before ever being drafted. Or Gilbert arenas son who he makes take a thousand shots every morning. Coaching is what makes players elite it’s very seldom a player just gets by because of physique they have to have talent and skill. Skills are honed by coaches and practice. I’d go so far as to say there’s no player in any league who got to where they are with subpar or bad coaching. I personally don’t think that’s possible.

      @ I’d have to disagree with you. NBA kids don’t make it because they don’t have discipline. That doesn’t mean having the best coaching or players around does mean anything. Ask tua if he thought coaching helped him his dead coached him into the ground he’d even hit him if he played horrible or Patrick mahomes who was coached hard in both football and baseball his dad being a former baseball player. @@oomshaka6683 no you said having the best coaching around doesn’t really mean anything. I wholeheartedly disagree with that statement. It only doesn’t work when someone isn’t invested or motivated albeit nba kids. Tua mahomes Tatum and booker all were coached hard by either great coaches and or players. Coaching absolutely matters, without it you aren’t making it to any league. You know why??? Because all the other players who are in the league have been coached by great coaches. Yes you have to want it but in 2024 that’s not enough. You need elite coaching. It’s the reason all the top players no matter the sport are in prep schools, img isn’t big for no reason. It’s where the best of the best go because they know they’ll be coached/trained to the level they need to be.

    Not that many care but the Callahan/Levis coaching example at 19:40. Callahan and Levis had those conversations of being coached tough and Levis said that he was okay with being coached toughed and not just eased and patiently groomed along. He felt he was ready for that, well he wasn't. Adversity has definitely taken a toll on his confidence and tough coaching may not have been the way to go about it but there was many conversations and communication between coach and player about that coming into the season. Now they are trying to backtrack because they got it wrong but there is at least reason behind Levis being thrown out there with the wolves. They thought they were ready for it and they weren't.
