    I am not a friend or a business associated with Alsyvox,but after 30 minutes of auditioning the Botticelli X ,I save some money and bought it.After 4 months,I am still amazed and never regretted my decision.A true speaker design breakthrough. You should try to audition these👍👌

    Great to get the creators perspective on his life long passion with these beauties and you know they sound as good if not better than they look.. Not an easy feat. Just Gobsmacking to bestow these hand made Artisan beauties and with a child like fascination that captivates with wonderment.. True Audiophile beauty and Nirvana comes at a hefty cost, but with dreams that are attainable.

    Man, the noise surrounding Alysyvox has all been good news; love the presentation and interview 🔊🎶
    The Caravaggio would, in my mind, compete against Børresen M6, whilst the Michelangelo might compete against either Magico M9 or Tidal La Assoluta!
    Amazing technology happening in the speaker space, and these ribbon speakers are bleeding edge! 👏🏽🔥

      @@vladimirdorta6692 Oh that is very true, and I was not trying to say that these were similar sounding, but competitive in the quality of sound reproduction using next-gen technologies, and the overall positive impressions by those who have heard them.
      Or, to put another way, I was complimenting the Alsyvox systems and speakers on achieving the highest of excellences of sonic performance with little to no compromises, similar to the other speakers I have mentioned.
      Of course, none of these speakers or systems are affordable to me (I predominantly listen to high-end headphone systems), but I am fascinated by audio reproduction at multiple budgets; the engineering at the far extreme, the extreme budget, and the middle ground, is its own hobby of interest to me.
      Hope that clarifies my comment!

      @@vladimirdorta6692 Oh that is very true, and I was not trying to say that the above-mentioned speakers were similar sounding, but that the quality and excellence of the Alsyvox systems is at the highest level, offering no compromise sonic solutions.
      It was here that I was offering the comparison, the performance rather than any sound quality similarities.
      In other words, I was complimenting the Alsyvox systems on their achievements, and continued appreciation by those who have heard them.
      Hope that clarifies my post!

    Nice Planar magentic speaker, one of , if not the top in this field in terms of specs! that guy from absolute sound keeps calling it a ribbon, the dude from alsyvox keep repeating its a planar magnetic) push pull is same polartity.... not different, else there is nothing to push :)

    • @RobertHarley-dk1th
      @RobertHarley-dk1th 7 месяцев назад +5

      I'm "that guy from The Absolute Sound" and I call it a ribbon because there is a distinction between a planar-magnetic design and a true ribbon. In a planar-magnetic driver like the Magnepan, a conductor is bonded to the Mylar film diaphragm. The audio signal flows through the conductor. In a true ribbon like the AlsyVox, the entire diaphragm is electrically conductive and the audio signal flows through the diaphragm. Both are "planar" designs.

    • @gregbegland7640
      @gregbegland7640 2 месяца назад

      @@RobertHarley-dk1thbut it's aluminum foil traces bonded to a mylar sheet, not just an aluminum conductor acting as both the conductor and the diaphragm. By convention, a "true ribbon" this is not.

    Oh my goodness. How does Robert still not understand. At the very beginning he mentions these are true ribbon speakers. Then, Daniele just explained that it's aluminum foil glued to mylar backing, but Robert immediately follows that with an explanation of a true ribbon. These are planar speaker just Magnepans. Better built, but the same basic principle of operation.
