Next Level, Tyler and Team are the real deal! I bought a pair of Dynaudio's form Tyler when Next Level was operated out of his home in the Milwaukee Suburbs in roughly 2008. I had spoken to him a few times but had not kept in real touch. In 2022 at AXPONA I visited his room and he remembered me by full name on sight without introduction and even what I had bought. A true representative of service... It's fantastic so see their well earned success.

Engineering on this level, sells itself. It needs no middle-man effort whatsoever to convince a would-be buyer at all. There are music listeners who enjoy Bose clock-radios background ambiance, and there are music lovers who demand full-frequency concert sessions that can, in SOME instances, last a full 72 hours, or possibly longer, on flagship, statement units THAT WILL OBLIGE e v e n

It's a great audio store, I bought used borresen speaker's from one of their clients, & they brokered the deal, service was excellent all the way to california , they even followed up a year later to see if I wanted to upgrade the drivers, first class store. Even their used inventory is great. Great video Jay.
Great story but I do feel Borresen is overpriced even though it's a great product.

LOVE the fact you gave an honest comparison between the X3 and N3. More reviewers need to be as honest. Other manufacturers need to take notice for their price to performance points.

Recently a dealer for Focal and Naim no more represent these 2 brands in Australia and had a fire sale on (26k USD) Focal Sopra 3 for 11k AUD a pair, go figure?!? Anyway cool Jay

I know Tyler's father, and his father has always been completely honest with me. Like father...Like son.
Jay needs to visit one more store in the midwesr called "the sound environment ". They are located in Omaha, Nebraska. They have been around fo decades. They have an amazing owner and staff and have one of the best listening rooms in the Midwest. I forgot to mention that they are also a premiere Wilson and Rockport dealer. The owner just happens to own the same Rockport speakers that you currently own. Could be interesting.

@Jay, thanks! What did you hear as the difference between the X6, and the twice as expensive Z5?
Have been thinking about getting the borresen X1 and may use a Rel tx7 sub with it. I do have 330 square feet room ( 30m2) but not sure if the X1 with sub, or if I should get the X2 insted with no sub for that room size ( mostly music 99% of the time ).

Hi, there are plenty stores in the vicinity to you which are selling the fun stuff from AGD. I bought all my stuff from them in the nearfield of Munich, of course they don´t have all bits and pieces in their shelves but the most important like the X and the Z series. If you are interessted in the more expensive things from them there is a way for shure, to have a listen to them.

Fantastic video, except I feel Jay should have revealed his thoughts on the Focal Vs Borresen speakers for another video taken in his own space and not right there in the dealers showroom. His honesty is appreciated, but there is a time and place.
Honesty is what made this video amazing. He’s that kind of person that he let me be me … not many stores would allow for this. In short I disagree with you

Jay... you editor needs to learn how to do sequence editing. Your initial cut shot b-roll is out of sequence. You don't just throw shots together because you like a shot. There has to logical motivation to it. Also need to keep an eye on way too much headroom on much of your interviews. Shoot and insert more interesting tight & medium shots of the equipment you are referring to. Viewers get tired of talking heads! You can do better. You need to have a shoot & edit plan of attack when producing a 40+ min video to separate yourself from other average videos on the tube.
i will buy a nice 2 bedroom house and a very nice system for under 550,000.00 unless the speakers come with a free 3 year lease of a Danish wife.... I'm sorry man.. though those prices are in no way justified....

I just just can't believe people spend $550,000 plus $35,000 in tax just for a speaker. I will say people will spend millions on a canvas with some paint on it.🤯🤯😇 Think about what car you can buy with that coin which vomes with an A tier system. Nice interview either way. Focal lost its way by being overpriced. Even their high-end headphones are overpriced. I listened to a pair of Meze $3000 headphones and sound better than focal $5000 headphones.and focal $3000 headphones don’t even compare.

The setup on those speakers... im gonna have to try setting speakers next to side wall as close to possible, and use extreme toe.
I love my music and sound quality but know way on earth will I spend 500.000 on a pair of speakers do you know you can at less by a house with that money.for god sake give to the poor
