That's if there's even any gas in the first place. When I first started Carn, I would go up to a week without having to fart.
I started taking these pills that cause your bones to release more stem cells, and just the small amount of fiber in the cellulose capsules was enough to have me farting a little bit every day.
Still didn't smell like anything, though.

This was so helpful!!! I am almost 70.. female and same weight as high school. BUT omgoooooosh!!! I have been on carnivore for about a week now and feel amazing!! My body is healing from inflammation, lost my “mature belly” in like 5 days… mental clarity is awesome! I was not much of a junk food eater , but did love French fries and occasional ice cream. After this short amount of time those desires are gone. My motto for 40 years has been “ Nothing tastes as good as healthy feels!!! Thank you young lady!!!❤️❤️

I have Crohn disease. I study veg, carb, protein, all kind if beans, flours, friuts for years. Weight watcher, Keto, eliminate food what cause me is the worst poop and gas. I switch meats only for two weeks now. My body feel is healing 100%. No arthritis, inflammation, gas, pooping, muscle relaxers. OMG. You save my life. I was torture with food all my life. I am little tired of eating meats but I am satisfied my health. That is important. Hard to believe the food are not healthy food in your body.

This also worked for my son but I added in high dose vitamin c and quercitin and magnesium. Elimination of processed food. No grain. He ate mostly grass fed beef. Organic duck and chicken. He switched to only water. They wanted to put him on 16 immune suppressing drugs. I refused. On follow up endoscopy his inflammation was gone. He's now perfectly healthy and is in anesthesia school. Anyone with IBS, try this. Stay away from milk and wheat

Magnesium and a Starbucks always worked within 5 minutes you can get the coffee in bottles at the gas station or Walmart. You don't want to let it go for over 3 days My father and my son had bowel problems until I gave them magnesium sometimes it takes two but you should start with one.

This is what's happened to our Husky. I only occasionally give her grain dry kibble (but even that has little carbs), feed her mostly meats, and her stool is smaller and she only goes once a day. She's a good-sized Husky, too. I'm starting carnivore. Definitely feel better with the bloating issue. So thankful for that. Thank you for sharing your experiences. ❤

Thank you so much for defining constipation. I've been doing low-carb/ketogenic and have a dump every day or every other day. I started carnivore - ish And did not feel the urge at all for 3 days. No pain, no bloating, but no urge. Then I had me some eggs and bacon and I ate as much of the bacon grease as possible and the urge came really fast.

A huge thank you for this video, and for normalizing this. You are so right about all those foods creating a butt workout. Story of my life. Until recent years of course. I gave up all grains and all root vegetables. The grains were the worst for it and to think that I spent all those years eating oats for breakfast and not connecting the dots. I swapped them for eggs and the issue disappeared. That was the game changer

This is a great video, love how you disarm shame through humor:)
Seems like the standard education about nutrition has been attuned towards complication which ignites obsession regarding food, body weight and overall health. Nurturing one’s true nature can be a simple process of eating and attention to one’s body responses. I love this channel and Shawn Baker MD channel as it affirms learning to be one’s own expert for one’s own body instead of surrendering that expertise to others. Learning from others’ direct personal experience is helpful in inspiring my curiosity about exploring a new way to eat. Thank you.:)

For 30 years, I suffered gas, bloating, cramps, and extremely loose and soft stools - borderline diarrhea. I had two or three bowel movements a day. Three different doctors, including two gastroenterologists, offered no help. A colonoscopy found no issues.
I too decided to go cold turkey. I was all in for the lion diet. For the first two weeks, my digestion bounced from one extreme to the other. After three weeks, my digestion settled into healthy regularity with normal bowel movements.
I've been on the Lion diet for three months. All my digestive problems have been solved. This alone is sufficient cause to remain on a carnivore diet. But there are so many other benefits that are outside the scope of this video. I couldn't be happier with my new diet.

Love your name! I named my daughter Izabelle.
I was vegan and vegetarian and I got really sick. I transitioned back to a SAD diet and then onto Keto. Once Keto I noticed that the veggies were making me sick every time I tried to even eat a few bites of them. I quit eating them and stopped getting sick, then accidentally took a vitamin that had trace amounts of veggies in it, and got sick for a full 7 days again.

I hope you feel better on carnivore and zero veg!

OMG, I’ve been trying this way of eating for 2 months now but still not feeling great - reading your comment just made me realize that though I’m no longer eating vegetables, I’m still taking a multivitamin that has a “superfood blend” in it. It’s got things like beets, broccoli, kale, spinach, carrot, ginger, chlorella, spirulina, blackberries, blueberries and cranberries. I wonder of even those trace amounts in there might be affecting me? 💡 moment here, lol - thank you for your comment! I’ll stop taking them for a week and see if I notice any difference.

Great video! I'm day 16 carnivore and went poo for the first time in 4 days. I am used to going everyday but this makes sense that my body is digesting more of what I eat. I'm thinking I need to eat more fats. Thanks for all your videos and great information. 💖💜💖

I love poop talk!!! I went to extreme too & I had to jump in, my life depended on it. Been studying ways of eating, tried it all but not much progress. Been sick most of my life, constipated all my life, never energy, never slept all night, therefore desperate. Only a week in and then the diarrhea started. I've been loving all the fat but apparently, I've taken this on too quickly. One of the biggest improvements already is that in one day I quit craving sugar. And always woke numerous times during the night, going to the bathroom. Last night I woke twice (usual times) but never had to get up! This is a miracle for me!

When I was a vegan I farted all the time. As an elementary school teacher you can probably imagine the jokes my students made. Also, I pooped several times a day. Now as a ketovore, (I eat an avocado everyday) my poops are small. In the beginning I had diarrhea, but found that drinking ACV in the morning stopped that.

Such essential information!!! Thankyou!!! I'm really, really shocked actually, at just how false the main stream narrative is about how to achieve a healthy digestive system! I feel like, once again, waking up to reality also on this area of life and realising what a ridiculous digestion I've accepted as normal - you've described it so well here - whilst it wasn't AT ALL. Amazing! Another(!) fantastic aspect of this diet / way of life!

Thank you Isabella for all the amazing information. I suffer from IBS and I’m scared of the diarrhea issues that might occur. You are so kind, honest and really knowledgeable about this program. I really want to become carnivore but I think I will struggle with organ meats - maybe my taste will change once I’m totally off junk and processed foods. Your the best SBG

I have IBS and much happier on keto/carnivore. Too much carbs and fiber was killing my stomach. I would have the worst stomach cramps and yo-yo back and for between diarrhea and constipation. I feel so much better going easily once a day versus the painful bathroom experiences every 3-4 days or so

    • @darlene2861

@@kristypickett4227 it is nice to know IBS improves after the transition. Right now I’m having to monitor as to when I can leave the house for fear are having accidents. I can’t wait to become full carnivore - I’m preparing now and just have to first get off of sugar then all carbs. Thank you Kristy.

@@darlene2861 it did for me and I hope it does for you. Good luck and be patient! This seems to be a different process for everyone. Getting off sugar is hard, especially the first 3 days every time I fall off the wagon, but I acknowledge every time that I feel the best doing low carb (keto and carnivore both help) and that helps me push through. IBS is no joke, and the stomach cramps remind me of that every time I try to cheat with sugary junk! Best of luck to you!

I had diarrhea for about 2 weeks.
Now 4 weeks in, I’m having the opposite issue.
      Constipated.
I had pretty normal bowel movements before… other than when I ate or drank something that my gut didn’t like/ allergic to.
I did regular fermented foods before.. so I’m missing those, and my gut overall was ok.
So cramps and constipation are a new issue for me at 57…😬😂

My experience as a vegan was exactly the same as hers. We differ in our experience going to the "other" side. I went carnivore/eggs/raw cheese/fermented veggies overnight but had no problem with the transition. I had beautiful poop right away:) I ate rendered fat and used it to cook. No problem. In the beginning I cooked all my meat well. No problem. Interesting how everyone's experiences are so different. I must say I, too, love the no gas and bloating immediately once I stopped eating veggies and fruits. Also, acidic food and fermented veggies helps with meat/fat digestion. Many cultures eat acidic or fermented foods with their high fat/meaty foods.

Lovely forthright and honest video. Your eating habits certainly seem to show themselves in your glowing complexion and clarity of mind. Loved the all be it a little graphic humour. All seems to make sense. I was so much of the mindset that if you're not pooping even up to 3 times a day then you were constipated or at least had some sort of gut issue. I am definitely going to cut back on the salads and veggies and see what happens. Thanks again for the advice. Luv and God Bless. H

This is great info! My experience with leaning into a meat-based diet has been much like yours. When I transitioned from my last very unhappy vegan experiment, I suffered NO intestinal upset! I did think I was “Constipated” because I didn’t have daily huge BM’s any more. Now I know this is OK. And no more gas is just another plus. I do like the Natural Calm magnesium drink before bed; it really helps with sleep.
