Agree. Got into 83 when Before the Dawn Heals Us was released and loved Hurry Up, We're Dreaming. Reunion was a great track. I'm hoping Fantasy brings us back.

I was 26 in 2006. I discovered M83 hearing "Don't Save Us From The Flames" in a car commercial. Promptly went to my local indie record shop and bought Before The Dawn Heals Us. Been a big fan ever since. This song evokes the feelings of listening to that record. Major "A Guitar And a Heart" vibes. Can't wait to see them live again in April at the Detroit show. I love M83!

@@triptheroad You're welcome! I think the original air date was January/February 2006, and I likely saw it during a playoff football game. I think I only saw it once or twice. Had to Google search the lyrics/"song in the Solstice commercial" to find the song. Some of my earliest memories of RUclips are watching the videos for "Don't Save Us..." and "Teen Angst" over and over. Pontiac had good songs in their commercials. Cheers!

Heard this song for the first time as I was walking through the Atlanta airport. I was there for a job interview, and finally received an offer this time (This was my 4th time interviewing for this position) This song just perfectly encapsulated the feeling of relief, optimism, and pure bliss that I felt in that moment and the next thing I knew tears were just streaming down my face. But they were happy tears because to me this song reminds me that I am more than worthy of the good things that happen to me in life. I haven't been dealt the best of cards in the last decade or so, but this song brings me hope that there are better things on the horizon. Absolutely in love with this song and this music video. ❤

Last year this time around, I found the song "Lower your eyelids to die with the Sun". I was in a bad place in life then. Exactly one year later you release this song and it feels like it's telling me to keep pushing and going forward with a smile, everything will be alright

@@ijustneedmyself yes, I found them back in 2016 through the song “Intro ft Zola Jesus”, I think it was a soundtrack in some movie. I love “Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming”. I’ve only stuck to this album until last year when I found out “Lower your eyelids to die with the Sun”.

Dead Cities, Red Seas, and Lost Ghosts: Run Into Flowers, Before the Dawn Heals Us: Don't Save Us From the Flames, and Saturdays = Youth: We Own the Sky. He has more albums, but these are my faves.

@@ErickEly that’s their first album I heard. Unknowingly I had heard them in 2012 as they had “This Bright Flash” at the end of the film Chronicle. I had also heard Midnight City of course on the radio and was unaware both songs were from M83! Also “Wait” in a few films.

Outro is like a multidimensional song that contain everything about a human being. Is my all time favorite song and this just jumped into second place for the same reason. The song is playing with your mind, with your feeling in a way i cant describe.

Ive been listening to M83 since the release of until the dawn heals us. I went back and listened to thier previous albums as the years have progressed so has M83 listening to albums start to finish is so easy and honestly i feel as im part of the album while i do certain things. Like walking around cities observing people, driving my classic car theough the praries but the best is when im alone observing the night sky through my telescope
