Wow, I'm in awe. For anyone who suffers from mental health issues, this can be a hard message to convey, but so necessary and important. Everyone has "Bad Thoughts" now and then, but for someone who is depressed, those bad thoughts can be literally be the difference between life and death. Rachel, thank you for this song. Been in fire/ems/911 since 1995. If you only knew the things I’ve seen, heard, smelled. PTSD & mental health are real. I have my “dark days”. Those are days I just need to be alone. To do or not do whatever I want. Maybe it is watching mindless tv all day in my PJ’s. Maybe it will be me & my doggie snuggled in bed. Maybe we go out for a drive or just sit in the sunshine with our eyes closed. It is easier to feel alone when these darker or harder days are here. But sticking it out, pushing forward & making it to a new day is the ultimate accomplishment. Beautiful & real song. ❤❤❤
