So nice shots!!! Well done! I have an R5 and a RF 50.12, RF 24-105 L, RF 35 1.8 and Tamron 35 1.4. But I miss a longer focal length. Was looking at Yongnuo, Samyang 85 1.4 and Viltrox 85 1.8. Do you think the Yongnuo stands up against the Samyang and Viltrox? The Canon 85 1.2 is too expensive and worth more than one of my cars! LOL
Thanks so much! Team R5 🙌 haha the 85 1.2 is very pricey, main reason I haven't purchased one also. To be honest I haven't tested the Samyang or Viltrox but I am very impressed with this Yongnuo, especially for it's price / size! Awesome little lens. So that's all I can really comment on!
I compared the Viltrox 85 RF and the Yongnuo 85 RF for a short time. The Yongnuo is noticable faster in focus speed but i had a marginal lower keeper rate because of not hitting the focus. The viltrox's af is a bit slower but trustier in my opinion and it's also a tiny bit sharper with more micro contrast but has slightly more Ca's. The Bokeh balls on the Viltrox are rounder and more appealing to me. The yongnuo is also noticable smaller, lighter and completely weather sealed while the viltrox's sealing is only limited to the front element according to viltrox. So the decision for me was not easy, but i kept the Viltrox. i really would recommend to try them both side by side before keeping one, since the image quality is so similar.
That lens is crazy sharp for the price. I'm thinking of switching from 35mm to 85mm for street photography. But I'm also considering the 56mm sigma as well.
Please listen: the chipmunk dubstep is murder to my ears. Be aware that there are people in the world who are utterly repulsed by this music. I had to mute your video. But thank you for the effort you put into this video. I like the results. I wish I could get shots like this.
Love the chill vibes and music
Hahah thank you my bro!
Keen as for this!!
Thanks brooo!
Came to check out how the Yongnuo 85mm performed, stayed for the vibes and excellent shots!

Learning how to shoot on rainy day, thank you! Also hope comparison with TTartisan 90mm f1.25, faster lens maybe better in such situation?
Miss my 85. Such a good focal length. Great vid man

Hi, I'm thinking about buying this lens for sony mount. How fast is the auto focus in dark situations?
Thanks :)

@@TKNORTH I rather like the Lofi beats. It’s super chill and nothing like heart pumping EDM. Great video and shots. Thanks for sharing 🙏
