We have the most popular Indian festival coming up end of October. And the Indian community would be willing to pay good $$$ for those marigolds. Just like Dia de muertos for the Mexicans, marigolds hold great significance for Indians during Diwali. I wish that you find a way to store them until then and make a lot of $$$$ Serena! Love you! ❤
I’m so sad for you! You have truly planted your heart and soul into the farm. Given your blood, sweat and tears. I know you raised the kids on your own while your husband was away earlier in your marriage. Living like a single mom for so long…so I understand you wanting your own thing. ❤ I’m praying for your heart and your family!
I've never had a problem with Zinnias they grow like crazy here. Even the deer leave them alone. Your fall garden beds are beautiful! I'm in love with your Marigolds❤
We have a small local farm that grows a sunflower field, and they do big open days for Easter, Christmas and mother's day for the public to come and do photo shoots in the sunflowers. They set up a big old tractor to sit on, have a Santa, an Easter bunny and Easter egg hunts etc. They have bookings for professional photo shoots and make a good little chunk of money off the entry fee and pick your own flower sales too.
Serina will still be at the farm. She just won't be living there. She'll be an employee, plus she'll be developing her new yard. This is what Serina has said in previous videos.
The darker grass that you can't remember the name of is my fav in your bouquets. Once I get home and it warms up it opens up into these mini feather looking great it's so cool!!!
We have the OPPOSITE weather issue here in So. California 1100mi/1800km south of you. Most plantings LOVED 2 weeks of moderate weather in early October, then the last week has been hot. (I visited a nursery last Friday and so many plants looked sad from the heat.) SO looking forward to next week when cooler weather is forecast again. We're holding off on planting things like Daffodil bulbs until the soil gets cooler. We also had some lovely zinnia blooms the last month, and one thing that looked really good were celosia. Also, the yellow/orange shades of cosmos have been growing fast and so full of color and tons of seeds afterward. They're trying to take over! We grow larkspur (the annual form of delphinium) in the winter and they've become one of my favorite flowers.
Happy Thanksgiving! Learned something new regarding the greenish rudbeckia and statice. As you harvest cosmos during the year, can you take your stems and then literally cut that particular plant in half? Also, a note to yourself for next season -- you need to plant zinnia seedlings for transplant in June! You also need to have 1 more planting of sunflowers. Have a wonderful market! God Bless!
Frost just ended my growing season except for greeens and protected beds and now it is warming up again. Aster yellows seems to be showing up more frequently, and not just on echinacea. What a shame the pathogen infected your flowers after waiting so long for them to bloom. I hope your next market goes well. Please, share a few market photos after the video if possible!
@@GreenFlowerGarden Yes they did, as that is their business year end. It will be easier to create a clean separation at the end of the business year, otherwise they would have to finalize the books twice.
Hi no di I really enjoy watching you and I want to support you’re channel, but I find the episodes too long, I’m wondering if anyone else feels the same.
Serena. Have a good winter. We cannot wait to hear plans for your new home. It will be an amazing yard…looking forward to your Spring planting. You have a great following. God bless you…😊❤

As long as you are out in the garden, there will always be beauty! 😊
I use the cosmos branches for greenery. They last very well in the vase.
Can't wait to see what you do with your new yard 😊
So happy to get a farm video. It would be wonderful to watch you make bouquets again. You are my favorite flower farmer!

Love still seeing you on the farm...so sad that we won't get our flower fix from you next year. I've learned so much from you.
She will still grow a garden at her new property.

Thanks, Serina! The Scentbird sounds like a good deal, but I can’t do perfume, sadly.
Cut everything!!!!!

Yes
I thought you were leaving the farm? I’m confused lol
They can still work together as partners and not be married maybe. My daughter did it temporarily with her ex but ultimately had to move on.
Yes, eventually.
I believe she said they both agreed on finishing the year off working together on the farm ❤

Hi! Nice fall video:) Will you eventually start a different channel once this growing season is over?
Ian gets the farm, Serina gets the social media.
Hi no di
I really enjoy watching you and I want to support you’re channel, but I find the episodes too long, I’m wondering if anyone else feels the same.
Serena grows so many varieties of the same flower, and I enjoy the comparisons and her unique insights into each one. I enjoy every minute!
I watch everything on RUclips on 1.5 speed. This helps!
I love the education ❤ you can always fast forward
Serena. Have a good winter. We cannot wait to hear plans for your new home. It will be an amazing yard…looking forward to your Spring planting. You have a great following. God bless you…😊❤
No, I don't find them too long. Serena has a wealth of knowledge and shares it freely. I enjoy learning from her.
