Did I see a predatory dinosaur (the Allosauroid theropod Neovenator) attack an herbivore dinosaur without giving away its presence by roaring? Some documentaries just keep getting better
Neovenator (nee-o-ven-a-tor) which means "new hunter" is a genus of allosauroid dinosaur. At the time of it's discovery on the Isle of Wight, United Kingdom, it was the best-known large carnivorous dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous (Hauterivian-Barremian) of Europe.

This carnivore really deserves some more love from dinosaur media. Maybe an addition to Jurassic World Evolution or Prehistoric Kingdom will do the trick?
This Neovenator must be the Saitama of Dinosaur Britain. Stubbed his toe on a rock and got stabbed by an Iguanodon, shrugged it off within 10 seconds and killed the weakling Iguanodon.

It's still did the cliche victory roar but eh
That's a Mantellisaurus.
How did u know it wasnt dumb?
@@GimmieTheJimmie Eh, if it's cool, let it happen, it doesn't really ruin the scientific integrity as much as roaring before it's killed something.
This documentary is in my top 10, scratch that, top 5 favorite documentaries of all time.

Allosauridae in general was pretty strong,i mean al had a hell lot harsher life and make it until his death which make him a great survivor.

the neovenator lived and competed with the baryonyx sinse bot where from the wessex formation
@@matiasgarcia5182 No, Baryonyx did not live in the wessex formation.
yes live
@@matiasgarcia5182 No it didn't. There were two other spinosaurs in the formation that were similar to baryonx, ceratosuchops and riparovenator.
