I think the first rendering of #3 is supposed to show two choices of wall treatment. :)

i loved this experiment! thanks for posting 😊 also, you were very fair and professional in your critique -- nice job

I liked the 2nd one the best. The 3rd version is not a room where real people could conformably relax in.
For #2, I think you could make a faux fireplace, with your skills. Make a lightweight structure facing with faux brick and fake plug in fireplace grill. You could do that easily with what I’ve seen you whip out in other spaces. :)

I like the 2nd one so much, but also the first one looked cozy❤

I prefer how you have your space, I agree I really like the colour choices in the last space, the curtains from the first space. The second one is nice and cohesive and comfortable looking but it doesn't make me feel excited.

You could get the effect of #3 with peel and stick wallpaper and some paint.
#2 was my favorite though, even if you had to make a faux fireplace

I would mix the 2nd one and 3rd one. I love the fireplace and the floor pillows in the 2nd one but everything else in the 3rd one. I love white walls to make thing bright but I think you can also still do that with happy, bright and light colors. I love the camel tones for sure in the second one too.

I'm really surprised the two more expensive designers only gave you 1-2 pictures? I would expect probably 5 like the first designer especially for the price.

all of option were beautifuly made but by function the 1st one was the best in terms of function and design or the combo of 1&2

I didn't really like the third one, the first render was too busy and the second render too stark, I get how that would balance out in a room but still. The wall with the moulding split in half is very fun though.
The first one is my fave I think as an overall room design. I wouldn't live there but I'd be very happy to holiday there. Agreed on the second one. And I want the sofa from the second one that looks so comfy!!

Emily, thank you very much for your video.
Something to consider is that we are all here on our own journey. Maybe people price their services low because it's just something they do as a passion, maybe they live in other country where the cost of living is significantly less, maybe they're just getting experience without the pressure, etc. The point is that what people charge is highly personal. I used to provide free services (no tips accepted) when I was first starting out. I just wanted to gain experience. There's no need to worry or judge others about how they choose to charge.

I did not see previous videos. I would have liked to really have seen her apartment and understand her style. She scanned it quickly but not enough to see her taste.

I like them but maybe I’m confused about this service. Like 2nd one just thinks you are going to add a fireplace? Even if it’s your own house that’s a huge undertaking. Like…. are they really thinking this through?

What information or pictures do I give designer on Fiver that could result in realistic images/renderings of my actual space?
Also I was confused about what keywords to use to search for a designer on the website. Can you help?

If you know your style and how the room should look, then don't hire an architect.
You will make his/her work miserable, that if they won't quit the job with a client like you.
