i’ve been able to do gutteral growls for years but always struggled to figure out screaming, last few days i’ve been going through these shorts and casually trying stuff out, but i think i finally got it, not sure if its false chord or fry but its a step in the right direction

Hey, I know this is not related whatsoever to the video, but I have a question about one of your previous tutorials. I've been trying to practice screaming like Corey Taylor, but I live in an apartment so I can't be loud. Is there anyway I can practice toning it down a bit?

I think I’ve heard you do some throat singing before, kargyraa I think? Any chance you could do some similar short videos on that? Sometimes I manage to do it immediately and sometimes I can’t find the right technique for a few sessions of trying
Hi! I’m learning screams as I also learn vocal recording. I noticed some professionals record insanely high vocals mixing melodies and vocal distortion. Same singers, Oli Sykes for example, cannot even come close to do them while performing live. How do they record those takes? I know pitch correction exists, but you have to come close to the notes anyway to make the takes usable for mixing. I would really appreciate any answer 😁🫶🏻

I was in a deathcore band 15 years ago, and I was able to scream in my own way, just like I was only using my palate. Now I can't do it anymore, maybe I'm too old or maybe I've ruined my throat ^^. Btw, I naturally know how to do fry vocals, but I've always had the impression that I was lacking of strength/volume. What should I do? Train more?

What do I do if my voice hurts during screams? It’s not a sharp pain, more like I’m getting a sore throat. It happens when I touch sing with distortion or compression too.

dude lately my fry screams are very dry and slappy and shitty sounding. not sure what im doing wrong. one thing i do notice is i tend to do them too loud. easing up has helped but it still doesnt sound smooth. dry and slappy, best way i can put it
