When you showed those dirt crusted rusty bolts that looked like they were one with the machine it made me think of the Pirates of the Caribbean when that Pirate sold his soul to the ocean god and became one with the ocean over time…. Like the dry dusty version of that. Lol

@@GRTRanchadventures At the moment I'm looking at a JD 450b. I was looking for a case but haven't had any luck finding a decent enough deal on one in this area. But I'll still watch your rebuild video anyways.

My JD dealer told me these are only supposed to be 60 - 80 foot pounds for my JD 450G.
I know they are about seven dollars to replace for the nut and the bolt.

Do you have the details on the track link upgrade that comes apart with clips. My case dealer didn't know what it was.

No I don't, I just beat mine apart with a big hammer and reused the old parts to put it back together the same way, Oklahoma Case tractors is the dealer I use. The guy I talked to in their service dept said they usually torch the pins out and replace them with a master link with gator clips, and they ship parts so you could try looking them up. Sorry I don't have a better answer.

👍 I was like he really needs to invest in an battery impact. Does he really need to torch those? Then you come out with the big gun & it had a hard time. I would have thought the 3/4” impact would take them right out with ease.
How come you only worked 15 minutes this weekend? 😂

Ya I was surprised at how hard those were to get off you know it's tough when the 3/4 struggles. Hehe if I recorded everything I did on a weekend it would just have to be a 10 hour live stream🤣

Maybe you got to get one of those cute camera ladies & have her do the filming. But who can afford one of those 😁

@@GRTRanchadventures The problem was the long extension they work like a torsion bar and render the impact almost useless, best not to use one or use the shortest one you can
