Yay! $10 Boat video! It is on my bucket list to see that boat in person someday. Maybe at a show or something. So neat to see how far the Grady-White has come and to appreciate all the work that you’ve put into it.
Chief, We have discussed this in the past, Chief----PINK STRIPES............HAHHAHAHAHHAHH love it it looks great. Because of glare I would not gloss the underside of the top or the inside driving area. I know you love shiny things. Another fantastic Job well done.
DANG !!! the 10$ boat is lookin' fine, now a bit of gold plating on the motors and a fancy captains hat with gold braid and you are ready too sail...lol..keep safe amigo...Bob..😁
Have you heard of Sharkhide metal protection coating? It will help prevent your metal fittings on the boat or trailer from corrosion. Have you checked into using coppercoat as your anti-fouling bottom paint? It is durable, long lasting and is not degraded by being out of the water like tradition bottom anti-fouling paint.
Well that looks very nice brother! You’ve done very well! Also would like to add, if you paint the bottom black again, this will sound totally bogus but add cayenne pepper to the paint while mixing it. We do that up here in Maine and it keeps the bottom from growing junk and hair! It really really works bro. No lie! Of course I’m in the ocean but you never know where this boat will end up
@@shotslifeI said the same thing. I should ground the boat out on the next good tide and take pics. I put her back in the water back in April. She’s still looking good for a ol novi boat.
You know Chief, I am always a little skeptical about some of these boat surface products and the claims they make, but this stuff looks great. That might be my off-season project for my boat.
Wow! What a difference each coat makes! The stripe looks good on the video, nice job! I was wondering about the motors as well, and thought I may have missed an episode last year or something. About the cowlings, are they plastic or fiberglass? What is the plan for them? This has been an outstand project, truly eating an elephant one bite at a time. What a success!
Good job, take your time and relax. Question about the hull: What are you going to do about the hull? I had mine painted antifouling with marine rustoleum black, and it turned out great, easy, and fast. I thought to give you a tip.
As a turtles pace, the work is of Quality. Although every work of Art takes time. Did I Notice the two Brand new Motors in the back ground Waiting to be put on her?
Boat looks fantastic Shot. What's the status of the motors? Thinking about some new ones? $$$$ I'm being anal, but open those hatches and do around the edges!
Chief, you did an outstanding job on the stripes on the boat and the Polyglow looks amazing, fantastic job.
Thanks buddy!

Coopercoat… I’ll check that out… I want it to last for sure… I’ll check out shark hide as well

Really? That’s crazy… never would have thought that…

Yeah you never know how something is going to work, but I sure like it!

This has been an outstand project, truly eating an elephant one bite at a time. What a success!
Hey brother, the cowlings are fiberglass, so I was planning to paint the metal and try poliglow on them..
I've used poly Glow several times four or five coats is all you need
how did it hold up and any issues down the line? Researching this stuff now and people either love it or hate it.
That’s what I’m seeing as well…
Hope you guys didn't have any bad weather
We did not other than rain, but pray for those down south!
That really looks good. If you get some scuffs, can you polish in the future? Or will you polish the pollyglow off?
I think you can just add a coat
Good job, take your time and relax. Question about the hull: What are you going to do about the hull? I had mine painted antifouling with marine rustoleum black, and it turned out great, easy, and fast. I thought to give you a tip.
So I have been thinking the same, Rustoleum has always been good to me.
Hey Chief, starboard side feels higher because your arms are tired!
Hahahahhaha, probably so!
As a turtles pace, the work is of Quality. Although every work of Art takes time. Did I Notice the two Brand new Motors in the back ground Waiting to be put on her?
lol… same old one… one runs, the other has an issue…
Did you try it on the stainless rails? That looks fantastic especially with no buffing involved. Think it would work on car finishes?
I haven’t tried it on the stainless.. but it says not to put it on cars
Have you Fared well with the hurricane and storms. Was concerned you live so close to the river and dam.
We are good thanks for asking.. we got some storms but north/south Carolina, Tn and Fl got hit hard!
Looking great!
Thanks!!!
might as well go ahead and throw some newer 4 strokes on her!
Twin 250 Yamaha four strokes! Ok maybe 150's
@@jeddill3272 Hes on a lake so 150s is plenty/ if it was used for offshore applications 200s or 225s
I want to score your OCD, did you PolyCoat the top of the top? If you did that would get you ten out of ten. Time to seek help.
Hahahahahaha, yeah we will be doing the top! She’s all cleaned up ready for Poli!
By the way if I see a guy crying pulled over by the side of the road I will know you got some dirt on that finish!
Hahahahaha! True!
Когда уже лодка увидит воду?
No schedule, it’s like eating an elephant, one bite at a time!
dont sell yourself short. stripes look good, Its so shiny!! I wish I was, well the top of my head is, bald works that way.
lol, yeah it did come out like a mirror.. pretty cool stuff!
Boat looks fantastic Shot. What's the status of the motors? Thinking about some new ones? $$$$ I'm being anal, but open those hatches and do around the edges!
Yeah I will do that for sure
And yes $$$$ for new engines… doubt I’ll spend that kind of money but we shall see
