Removing broken old RV AC Units Part 1 | EPS13 | 2005 American Eagle | Shots Life
We bought a used 2017 Redhawk 29xk 2 years ago. Test drives seemed normal enough but first trip from NW WV to SW Texas was tough! Traffic and cross winds blew me around like a leaf and it required constant focus on the road (and continuous input) just to stay in my lane! We shipped a SafTPlus to where we stayed and found a local truck repair shop to install it (their first ever). On my 1st test drive it was pulling hard left so the shop needed an extra try to adjust it and nailed the tracking the second time. I have almost 10k more miles on it now and I swear it's been a total game changer. Best/smartest upgrade money I ever spent. That 33 feet of RV handles darn close to my old Honda van now! I see your Eagle seems to be pulling left too, so I'm presuming you have or will adjust it for better tracking. Consider adding their rear track bar kit to your bus too. When RUclips makes you rich, you can spend the $20k for a 4 corner Liquid Springs install!!! Still your biggest hillbilly fan 😀
Glad it worked for you too!!!
You should dig a pit it would be a lot easier to work on your motor home.👍
I had thought of that when I was building the building… I went back and forth
Happy (((Hugz))) all around 🤗🥰🤗
Hey Boss! Long time no see! Sorry, but I’ve had a lot goin on. Anyway, nice ride. Hope you get the steering issue squared away. I drove 18-wheeler for a decade and I sympathize with you. But hey, I have faith in you cuz at the end of the day, IYAAYAS!! 😃💥
Hey brother! Hope all is well in your end!
That off center wheel while going straight would drive me mad!
Yeah, we tried fixing it when we did the last alignment but it didn’t work, we will try again the next time
Sorry for the 3rd comment, but they call the headsets Marriage Savers
Watch a lot of America's Great Loop videos. They use headsets when docking or locking to communicate so they don't have to yell at each other. Don't know if it's worth the expense to back an RV into camp site, but might want to look to make sure. A lot of them also have T-shirts that say "I'm sorry what I said while docking"
Hahahahahaha, I need that T-shirt… that’s funny
Lol. Use to go to Jekyll Island every year for family vacation. All their kids and grand kids came. Mini van so loaded only 1 person could ride with him. Pulling a boat that was so loaded thought the axle was going to bend. I got to Brunswick and when to Walmart for some frozen bait and extra hooks. They were in there buying more food, asked if I had room in my truck to take some of it
Hahahahaha! Yeah I guess I am happy when I need something that she brought it but dang….
Hey senior, this is the kind of video I enjoy. What you did and what worked. But I would remind you of one thing that someone of your years of service would never forget. RTFM when you're installing stuff!
Hahahahahha!
I'm really happy for you that there were no major issues with your rig and I'm glad everyone had a good time or at least it seemed like it thank you for posting
Yeah we had a great time!
A lot of gravel has washed down in the creek beds.
37:00 Another channel had drone footage of that road you were on. Especially the house that only had a fireplace remaining and a cross set up.
Great work. Thanks for all you did. Would really like to know the backing music you used--do you have name/artist for the ones at 9:12, 23:58, and at 38:24?
Thank you… I will have to go back and look at the songs… I just find ones I like and play them😂
Please tell everyone to send more help to all the Hurricanes victims 🙏 NEED BOOTS ON THE GROUND PLEASE 🙏
..lookin' great, now all you need is a Mercedes limo parked out front..heh, heh. keep safe and have a good week amigo...Bob...
Hahahaha! A tractor is more my style! lol! Have a great week Bob!!
Watching how you did this was very interesting.
Very nice job! The whole porch addition came out great. Great place to sit with the wife, and a couple of glasses of wine.
Thanks! Yeah it will be a nice place to relax soon!
LOL, I live in a log house. I cringe every time one of those beautiful wood beams gets covered in PVC. I know that's the look of the house and had to be done, but that was some beautiful wood. I'd have felt better if it was laminated beams and they were ugly
Ha! I hear you! We have a lot of log homes in the neighborhood.. they are a lot of work but soooo beautiful!
At what point in your life did you decide you needed a metal brake? Think that's what it's called. Always wanted one, but I'd never (maybe rarely) have a use for one.
I actually borrowed it from a buddy, would love to have one but can’t justify the $$$. Can you believe how expensive they are?
@@shotslife Haven't looked at prices. Just thought they are so cool. At least you are using one. If I had to bend 2 pieces, I'd try to justify to my wife that I needed it. She'd say rent one or find another way to bend it
It looks really nice. I have always been mediocre at finishing work, but I can back a set of doubles into a dock and load a truck in about 12 minutes. '
lol, nice!!! That’s actually mad skill
@shotslife yeah but I can measure 29 times and still have a three inch gap.
Air Force tallent at work!
lol, hoooorah!
Beautiful work!
Thank you very much!
It's never luck it's skill and it seems you have plenty of it
Thanks brother!!
Strong work old man!
Thanks Z, you’re on the next trip!
I hear the lineman aren’t being paid and are leaving. Need a fund to help them

First off with Veterans Day coming thank you thank you thank you for your service! Your kind gesture to spend your time and talent and equipment to help a community you don't live in says tremendous things about your character. May God bless you more than he has for your commitment to helping Americans in their time of need! So many great people out there helping
Great job
Thanks
Great job by you and your guys. One family and one home at a time.
Thank you, your right one job at a time
So sad that people are in fear of FEMA. I understand their fears, plus if you look at how much FEMA screwed up after Katrina I get it. It seems like the local organizations are the most effective at getting the people what they really need.
Agree!
You just became the new highway superintendent. New title. Leaving the turtle out..lol
Hahahahahaha!
Great JOB!
Thanks!
Utility lines have easements that under normal circumstances are negotiated in advance between the land owner and the power company. Landowners are restricted in use of the land under easement once a power line goes up. I'm reasonably sure power companies weren't bothering to negotiate easements due to the emergency. When power lines have been on the opposite side of a road and all of a sudden they're being installed across your front yard, I can see why people are alarmed. Most misunderatandings between these big companies, gov't and landowners would never occur if there was some communication. It takes people a while to get accustomed to the idea that a few power poles on their property are worth allowing in exchange for power. This misunderstanding wouldn't occur if the power co had a liason to interact with landowners. Eminent domain takings are a sore spot with rural residents even during normal times. I figure the power co communicates with the county judge and posts a notice in a local newspaper or at the county seat. Those examples aren't sufficient notice when people have nowhere to live, lack communication with the normal social groups where they share info. The gravel issue should be addressed by local county commissioners. Greedy rock haulers would rather sit in line all day waiting to load and dump one load daily that the state pays $700+ for than serve individual homeowners that might be financially stressed, therefor unable to pay. It's my understanding that state and feds have pre contracted for all the gravel and rock produced by the nearby quarry. This is common practice, nevertheless it's not good policy. They should find a way to ensure private landowners get what they need too.
Awesome of you and the team to go do this. God bless you.
Thanks Dan
