I have read recently that the happiest people are those that take delight in the small pleasures of life. Your videos promote that very much. Plus, your videos bring me a lot of delight. I look forward to them each week. Thank you!
The forecast for SC tomorrow, Saturday, is cool, high of 50, and rain, rain, rain - an excellent day to bake some pumpkin bread. I don't have two loaf pans so I plan to borrow one from my neighbor and return it to her with the loaf of bread! That should make us both have a happier day!! Thanks for the recipe.
I am now in the mood for huevos rancheros and have added those items to my grocery list! Whether it’s a meal or a home project, you create such beauty in the moment. As I think about these things and my aging parents, I am reminded of a quote I keep near my computer which reflects how you frame your daily life: “Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.” ~Robert Brault
Hey Jen, Our children used to play piano, but now they have moved on to other things. I decided to dust off the piano and I started lessons a few months ago. It has been a tremendous joy!
My mother visited Panama when she was younger and bought molas. They are framed and hanging up in the hallway of my parent's home. I've always admired them.
Jennifer! I’m an Army brat that lived in Panama for several years so although the culture is not mine, it is also very special to me. I also have molas that I am trying to frame for my home and can’t wait to see how you frame yours!
Exquisitely created video. Thank you for sharing your heritage with us via the tapestries. My husband's father was born in Guatemala and served in a diplomatic role to the USA ( located in California). My in-laws home was always filled with colorful art, tapestries, and Mayan statues.I thought you'd find it interesting to know, my FIL, was fluent in Spanish, English, and in French. He attended the University of Notre Dame in France. He wrote his PhD dissertation in the French language. The subject he chose was St. Thomas Aguinas. He had a fascinating, colorful life. Both of my in-laws were college professors. Having long breaks in the summer, they filled their children's lives with travel and adventure. Blessings.🌹
Hi Jennifer! It was so lovely to watch your video on exquisite living at home today, for me! Firstly, because I greatly needed to see beauty, peace and quiet elegance to soothe my soul, and secondly because your video felt so cozy and warm as here, we are having our first substantial snowfall! Thank you, Jennifer! Have a beautiful day! 🕸🕸🎄🎄💖💖
Jennifer, I NEVER tire of your lovely, elegant homemaking videos! Each one is such an inspiring work of art. Thank you for helping us celebrate the simple, profound, incredibly powerful truth that part of the glory God has crowned us as women with is the gift of being homemakers. 💖 Praying you and your family feel His presence in a very special way today! 💖 PSALM 103 💖
Thank you so much for sharing your pumpkin loaf recipe! I think you are a very thoughtful and kind person and I enjoy watching and learning from your video's.
Jennifer, thank you for giving us a refreshing and exquisite start to the day! The colors of the roses behind you as you journaled were absolutely gorgeous!❤
I have also collected molas for years and have framed many of them. I’ve framed some behind glass and others without glass. I prefer them without glass in a very simple , narrow black frame.
I love that you have a yellow teapot just like your Madame Chic. It always makes me smile when I see it. Finding inspiration in other women and bringing a bit of their essence into your life is truly wonderful. I’m so glad that you continue to inspire me and encourage living a formal and elegant life filled with joy. With meaning and substance. You have been a significant part of my journey into adulthood and have taught me so much; I am ever thankful to all that you do! God bless you and your family. Loads of love from Sweden ❤️
Your videos are the delight of my day! I love the theme of finding joy in your everyday tasks. We need this respite from the worries of our world. Thank you for this!
You are wonderful at reminding me to be happy at home. I too, love the piano. I move country in the winter and feel a little lost til I get my house in order and get a new routine in the new place. You remind me to just enjoy the process of cleaning and redecorating and to take time for oneself. I make banana bread, all the time, but the pumpkin bread is great for this time of year. Thanks, Jennifer. Love from Turks & Caicos Islands, BWI. Linda
Making pumpkin bread with the first cool weather in October is one of my favorite traditions. I always freeze the second loaf - I slice it before freezing and put little pieces of waxed paper between the slices, so I can thaw one or 2 slices at a time. Fall traditions are so comforting.
Great video! I love pumpkin year round, but have not made pumpkin bread in years. You have inspired me to make some soon. It was good to see you at the piano again, but I do agree with the other posters, we would have loved to have heard your music. Maybe you could play a Christmas Carol for us in December. Thank you for making my life more beautiful, one video at a time.
That pumpkin bread looks delicious, and so pretty. I may need to do make some soon, before fall is over! Thank you for reminding us to find the beauty in every day. :)
Thank you so much for the beautiful video Jennifer ❤……..and the reminder to love finding the joy in the everyday tasks and setting aside time to do the things we enjoy. Life does get hectic and it’s so easy to let these pleasures slide …….Must try your recipe as well. The roses in your bedroom as you were journaling are exquisite…… ☺️
I saw the pumpkin bread recipe in the monthly newsletter and decided to bake some for a brunch at church. The only thing I changed was to add some chopped, toasted pecans. Everyone loved it, including my husband who asked for a slice this morning. Thanks for sharing!
I always enjoy your videos they bring the beauty of everyday life into focus. I found todays special because I roasted pumpkin this morning for our over winter of pumpkin for baking, then you had birches as a sponsor. From earlier we videos with birches as a sponsor, we purchased one for our RV, sleeping while traveling has become a pleasure. Looking forward to your Victoria announcement, I have been a fan of theirs since its beginning. In fact your channel is a bit of Victoria that comes to my house to visit. Bless you Jennifer.
I have seen these fabric pieces on another channel. I believe they are called molas. They can be quite valuable. They are so beautiful. I enjoy your videos so much. Thank you for sharing your life with kindness and elegance.
Dear Jennifer, what a lovely autumnal video. So many inspiring ideas to try especially the huevos rancheros :) Do you have any recommendations for places to buy quality winter coats? So many these days are polyester, which I prefer not to have. I'm slowly investing in quality pieces and really appreciate your thoughtful recommendations. Thank you, Teri
Good morning, Jennifer....have you ever used, smelled; known of the wonderful Archepeligo Botanical, exclusive collection candles. They are wonderful...I'm currently using Havana, and Kashmir...they're high quality, and rich in scent. Your brkfast looks delicious!
Another charming video; the life at home videos are my favorites and the huevos rancheros look wonderful. I hope you are open to a suggestion. The beater you are using with your mixer is actually meant for whipping, like egg whites or whipped cream. The paddle blade is meant for cake batter. The pumpkin bread looks wonderful.
Thank you. If anyone needs a lighter but still moist and delicious pumpkin. bread, check out my go to loaf. Pumpkin Bread with Pepitas from SkinnyTaste. I use two eggs instead of two egg whites. Only 2 Tablespoons oil.
This is off the beaten path but do you have exercises or suggestions for posture. You have beautiful posture! Maybe you can incorporate something into a future video?
This was a lovely video thanks for sharing it. The molas were beautiful and it was interesting to hear about Panama. Did you know that unfortunately the Union Jack is often used as a right wing / racist emblem and is seen by many as a symbol for hate and opression. I'm the English half of an English /Norwegian couple living in Wales, I'd happily fly a Norwegian flag but never the Union Jack 😔

That's sweet
It is so important for us to absolutely ❤ our home and the things we've been blessed with. None of it is trivial or small.
I love all of your content, Jennifer!! But I favor your day in the life style videos. I’d love to see one with more time stamps throughout your day ✨

When you feel unseen, unheard or misunderstood, remember your worth isn't defined externally. You are divine light. Shine on.

Thank you for the inspiration, Jennifer! I’m looking forward to making the Pumpkin Bread and I think a bergamot tea is perfect with it!
I love pumpkin bread! Try softened butter instead of the oil. It makes it so moist and so much flavor!

Pumpkin loaf looks delicious! 🤤
Beautiful video. Please treat us to more piano playing, I am passionate about the piano.
I use refried beans instead of black beans. Never thought of the cheese

I have been to the San Blas islands
I have a Mola in my bathroom.
My only wish was that we could have heard your piano playing at the end! That would be a lovely ending to your videos.

Try Callanetics orgininal dvd. The underarm tightener. But, ooowww!
Yes, I'm trying to improve posture as well

I think this is probably due to colonialism and imperialism
