Thank you!
You're welcome!
Thanks very much. Very helpful.
You're more than welcome!
Very helpful thank you I have an edge 3 can I fit batteries higher than 55AH in my chair? 🥰
No you cannot, that is the largest that the chair will hold
I have a Q6 Edge. I'm switching out the batteries and would like to keep it long lasting. I wonder if I can use a third party smart charger with a 3-pin XLR connector to better manage charging.
It may work. I always advise customers to charge their units when it needs to be charged and only charge till it is fully charged and not keeping it on charge overnight or for long intervals at a time. Batteries have memory so you want to drain the battery and charge fully. If you do this, the batteries should last a few years before needing to be replaced. Hope this helps!
can you direct me to the video if the batteries are completely dead?? Please??
Depending on how long the batteries have been dead for, you may need new batteries. How long have they been without a charge? If they have been over 6 months, more than likely you will need to purchase new batteries for the unit. Let me know how long its been and Ill let you know if you need new ones or not. You can give me a call at 800-677-6293 and let me know and if you need new ones, I can get you a quote.
I have the Quantum Edge 3 HD with the eyelevel. Do I need the 75 amp batteries?

If you would please subscribe to our channel. This helps with RUclips sharing our videos so we can help more people!
I have an older Quantum Edge HD. The two side levers to release the cover wont work.So I cant remove it. What can I do to make them move? They're stuck. I tried to use oil to loosen them up but that didnt work. Please,.help
You could use oil and a small hammer to tap on the levers to see if they will move to the unlocked position. There is no way to get to the batteries without removing the cover. If they haven't been unlocked in some time, dirt and stuff can get caught in there making it hard to unlock. Hope this helps!
@@Marcsmobility Well,we tried WD40 and did the taping but nothing is workiong aia'm afraid. I did find a tech guy who is coming over to fix it on the 2nd of next month.,but it's costing me $150.00. No problem though. The new batteries will keep me runninng 7 hours on one charge.
@@Marcsmobility I'm having a tech come in and do it for me. Thanks for the help though. :}
You are more than welcome!
Will lithium (LiFePO4) batteries work on these chairs?
It is advised not to use lithium batteries on these chairs that come with sealed lead acid batteries. They are programmed to those and not lithium and could not show correct amount of battery left as well as possibly not work with the electronics on the chair. Hope this helps.
@@MarcsmobilityHi, I have a Quantum Edge Z with tilt and iLevel… I did intend to ask about lithium batteries but seeing as you’ve a answered that question, I was wondering if there were any much longer lasting batteries (the Z has 75 Ah batteries) I could replace my current batteries with? Maybe higher Ah or even another type that would work? If not, do you know if there are any technologies on the way, which would give us enough juice to travel around a large city all day (I’m in Toronto), change seating position and not think twice about how much charge there is in the chair? I remember my first power chair in about 1992… it didn’t have any bells and whistles but it would go crazy distances without losing much charge at all. My next was an InvaCare Storm and it looked better than the previous generation but got great battery life, as well. I’ve found the last couple to be great chairs but we’re asking them to tilt, raise, have Bluetooth, lift our legs etc…, but it’s like the manufacturers aren’t keeping up to date on alternative options for batteries. What do you think?
If a chair moves slowly and backs up fast, where could the problem be?
The issue sounds to be in the programming. You could reach out to a Quantum dealer and ask if they can reprogram your chair. Hope that helps!
I need help replacing the batteries on my Quantum Q6 edge 2.0 do you know where I could take it to or who to call I live in Colorado
We sell batteries for your chair and batteries for that unit we could get it shipped to your door for a total of $350 and all you would have to do is change the batteries just like changing a battery in your car. As for knowing anyone in Colorado, with us being in Florida we don't know anyone in Colorado. Your best bet would be to Google "Mobility store in (your zip code)" and call ones around you to see who you could take it to. Let us know if we can be of any assistance, if we can give us a call at 800-677-6293.
