I think when you say it is a consistent character, it is not just with face, it should also be consistent with other things also. Let's say we have a Shrek going to the dragon's castle. Next image would be either Shrek meeting Princess Fiona or running out from the Dragon. During this kind of events, Shrek will always wearing same cloth. Could you also do such kind of things with Playground AI?

Probably not. In playground you can also use canvas where you can edit your pictures. So you would probably need to Do this. Especially for color and removing things

Why do need to generate random name from web? What if we put our own name or any name we think of?
