+Trey Scott I Kind of thought it was Self explanatory, it looks like once you get the Pneumatic moving, it keeps moving on its own without intervention. Self-propelled.

I don't get this, why don't lego do these kind of stuff anymore? If lego would come out with a model like this, I would defenitely buy it. Now all they make is "MARS MISSION" and "POWER MINERS". We need more Technic pneumatic stuff!

Jedes Kind sollte sowas bekommen, wenn man es sich nicht leisten kann sollte es auch von der Tafel gesponsort werden....Das würde logisches Verständnis so früh reinbringen, dass sie es später definitiv einfacher haben werden.

For your steering, you should put return springs or something so that when you turn the wheel it goes back by itself :)

There is a strange effect with the movement of the video. I think my video stabilizer is the cause of that, the tractor runs correctly of the table.

Yes, despite the fact that it is suposed to be irreversible ! Pin friction is a good idea. In fact, I have not seen that.
Non, la pression fourni par un compresseur n'est pas suffisante. En revanche cell d'un compresseur industriel oui. Attention à ne pas dépasser 2 bars de pression.

Ich habe das Modell soeben gebaut und ich bin einfach nur begeistert! Es ist eines der Anspruchvollsten und am schönsten zu bauenden Modelle die ich kenne. Ich finde es sollte von Lego als offizielles Set heraus gebracht werden... ich würde es definitiv kaufen! :D

they had this kind of legos at my school and i had fun making a engine.
When it drives at the end it looks kind of fake but I think its just the other wheel spinning faster.

you should add some more weight to the flywheel.. and some graphite to the friction points and it will run smooth as silk.. Did you drill out the intake tubes on the piston to move quicker? ... awesome build

Nice mechanism on the adjustment of the pneumatic switch. It's hard to find the perfect sweet spot for a 1 cylinder Lego air engine. The differential gear called it out for me.

Yes! See this is what everyone who tries to have Lego knewmatic engine gets wrong, you need to have some kind of flywheel to make it run smoothly! Finally someone does it right!

Yes but it is not possible in lego because the inertia of the wheel would not be enough to run the engine, it has to rotates faster and then on a second axle with gearing up.

Single-cylinder engines are always slightly uneven. I think it is partly because of the pneumatic valve's large 'dead' area.
looks great nico. i noticed with your other pneumatic vehicle that the movement is fairly stuttered/jumpy. can you fix that at all or is it all down to the parts?

I am pretty sure it come from Admiral Bob, hearing the vocal and guitar sampling but did not figure out to find the exact song !

hi, I built your tractor with the instructions it was a great build it's awesome but it wont run I've tried everything but i only have one hand pump do you have any ideas on what else will work to try and get it to work if you do please tell me i would really appreciate that thanks

brick master you need a least 2 or 3 pump with airtank. On the instructions i recommend 4 handpump
