    For some reason that 60s tractor is giving me this very slight sensation of nostalgia. I think it is because agriculture around these parts began to die out in the 60s, and as such most local photos of tractors contain models like that.

    Reeeaaally wish I had gotten that Combine Harvester Transporter set from a few years back before it was discontinued. Because I have they newer red tractor and their now releasing so many farm, Animal, and nature themed sets.
    Also, wouldn't it be cool if they someday released another limited edition Cargo Train set like the Red on from 2012 and it included a little old fashioned orange tractor with catapiller treads and a semi oval shaped front end as a little nod and reference another piece of childhood nostalgia? Man, that would be perfect.

  • @dannystone6395
    @dannystone6395 4 года назад +3

    First Combine Harvester was in 1989 with set 8862. It was second to the Backhoe.
    Also the 1986 "Tractor" (set 8849) should have stated it featured a rotating PTO shaft driven from the rear wheel.

      If you're referring to 4899, it was never released in the United States, only in some European countries I think, as a promotion. It is now quite rare.

    I like the 1960's styling much better. It gave kids more imagination than the later years. The new Lego has absolutely no imgination built in.

      What is this "imagination" you speak of? and how do I download it to my Iphone? does it require micro-transactions?
