I've never heard of the Lemon Twigs before but I could tell immediately that they're serious musicians, and that was before I heard they have their own recording studio. They just have that "I'm a forever musician" vibe about them. Great dialogue.
Todd Rundgren must come back again as Lemon Twigs's producer, he can inject a more rock sound into LT projcet. I love the songs LT produced by him like Taylor made and fooling around.

Todd opened a couple of tours in Kingston Ontario Memorial Ctr. to work the kinks out of the show tek I'll always remember the Dragon dripping fire and Todd telling jokes for 10 minuteswhile the teks fixed it.....and then Todd getting stuck at the top of the elevator. SO MUCH FUN, and Todd handled it like a pro.......our genial host. ;>)

XTC's albums are a progression from White Music right upto and including 'Big Express' you hear them progressing as technology was changing all through the early 1980's. What was missing or went missing was commercial success demanded by their record company..Skylarking opened their eyes it seems to a different way of doing things which made them money or some money. Skylarking is arguably their most accessible album it signaled that reboot Beatles thing that would come along 6-10 years later starting with Jellyfish and the new power pop and then Britpop but they were never XTC again afterwards not for me anyway; Todd might remember or even like the Dukes Of Stratosphear which was done a year later than Big Express and a year earlier than Skylarking same band just not being XTC
