This is one of the most high-level intelligent interviews I've ever seen between a band and an interviewer. Both talking a language that turns certain band sounds or songs into a sort-of vocabulary of styles - and both sides hip to the most obscure references. Made even more astounding by the difference in country and age of both sides, and the fact that the Twigs are so young. This is a proper music discussion - I bet the Twigs loved this rather than the usual rock interview BS.
Very refreshing to see an interview where they’re not being asked the same shit as always- this guy is tuned in to what they’re doing and wants the details we all want 😂 brilliant
Not ashamed of talking about their influences... this is great content. Many artists deny to do so... many artists pretend "they invented this or the other thing"... I watched a show yesterday in Madrid, and had brief talk with Brian... he was so humble!!! keep rocking guys!!
To the one or two naysayers: what original, creative, new music have you recorded or performed? Maybe you have, but I am not aware. I am aware of The Lemon Twigs, though! We should be thrilled that younger musicians are embracing the 1960’s and 70’s! Also, keep in mind that the entire “British Invasion” was based on American music from Chicago blues to Buddy Holly to Chuck Berry, etc.! If you don’t care for The Lemon Twigs type of music, that’s one thing, but to say that they are not original is ridiculous!

I love how tuned in Jon is with Michael and Brian, it's fun watching them react to his thoughts

What a great interview! Jon asks fantastic questions and it's so good to hear the guys' approaches to studio recordings.
