Sorry about the audio I was too excited and didn't realize i was not using the right mic. 😂
And also where can I buy one of these lots which estates ?
Like beef and chase that dosent
?
@@TampaCoinGuy what estate sell website you bought these from?
BRAVO !
I’ll never forget the buy I made at a garage sale. Over 50 coins mint sets & proofs for a $100. In the bag was a graded MS63 NGC 1904 S $20 gold double eagle. The lot ended up being over $4000 in value. It was the fist video I ever made.
Wow 😮
Wow!!
Some guys have all the luck...:)...
Did you kiss the guy after you stuffed your pockets ?
One time I went to my local antique shop and bought 4 grab bags for 25 dollars, got 200 coins. Over 5 of them were from the 1800's including a 1853 one dime without the arrows, would've been sick to get one with the arrows, not in best conditions which is why they were cheap, not mad at it lol
Man just keep it unless you need the money...I went to an estate sale once. Huge collector type house. This was the 2nd estate sale they had. I went in the basement. By the empty safes in the back back over by the hot water tank. I opened a box that had a box in it. Opened that. Instantly recognized the blue Whitman folders. Was full of every set of silver coins. Even seated dimes. Which was the oldest set. Not complete but a bunch in there. Prob 20-25 albums. I closed the box. Heart pounding. Brought it upstairs to add with the few things I put by the register I was buying. The guy added everything up. Paid 30 bucks. I didn't know much about coins or variety at the time. I ended up selling about 20 of the seated dimes. Only have about 10 left or so. But had a ton of silver half dollars. Ben and walkers. Quarters, dimes. Nickels. Canadian dollars. Quarters and dimes. Was nice to get. Probably never find anything like that again. Was before covid. Silver was selling at 15 bucks an oz...
That definitely sounds like a once in a lifetime score.
@@TampaCoinGuy I just wish I was more knowledgeable and into silver and coins that I am now. I was laid off and needed money so I sold but still. I would have kept all the seated dimes... My father collected coins and I would put them into the Whitman folders with him, he was sick for 10 years and passed a few years ago. So towards the end years we kind of looked at his collection and he'd talk a little about it. So I was super green and didn't know much about this life. Now I have his collection and that estate find. On top of everything I've been buying for the last few years in my safe. Love this life of coins. I have a few very bad and hard to watch videos of some of my father's stuff he passed on to me. Some nice stuff if you can be patient with the camera wobble lol
Anyway glad I found your page. I'll check out the content. Just watched a coin roll hunt. Amazing how you get like 8 boxes at once. I would love to do that
Man, any of the Bicentennial Halves I would have paid a premium for, along with the nickels. Crazy how in this video, with all those Silver Kennedy's, not a single one of the 1970-D and no proofs, but the '65,66,and '67's would be worth checking for any SMS Cameos mixed in. Sigh, wish I'd have seen this when it dropped, I would buy all of the BU penny rolls from 1959 all through to 1964-D. Heck, I'd have traded some proof Franklin's, and some more Kennedy's for those rolls or ones like them searched or not. I roll hunt and my closest bank is for everyone else their dump bank, I won't find any silver for sure, but find higher condition coins along with errors and varieties across all denominations. So anyone with early '60s BU Rolls of pennies wanting to trade them for silver, shoot me a message! Located in SoCal
I love the excitement when you find a 64 man!
Thanks I feel like a little kid when I find one
VERY VERY NICE ROI!!!! And fun to search!! Love watching these types of videos.
How exciting! Glad there were some great finds. Stinks some were misleading.
It happens but I count myself lucky that I got as much value out of it as I did.
Wow, what a find. I would be flipping out. Congratulation of a sweet deal.
It was a good score but I really hope that this auction company gets better at this for the people they’re auctioning for.
The 1947 set was almost definitely a birth year set the person put together themselves. That was a common thing back in the 60's and 70's for collectors. While not especially valuable it was meaningful to whoever assembeled it.
Wow that's a score of a life time, congrats TCG
Thanks 🙏! I got super lucky with this auction. I think it was the estate sale companies first estate with a large amount of coins.
Cool video. Thanks for sharing. I like to learn about coinage collections and how fascinated others can be about it as well as I myself.
No Franklin's in that amazing haul
Im happy to see that..all your coins..i love that..thank you my friend
Buen trabajo amigo guste vídeo y del contenido muchas monedas gracias por compartir un abrazo buenas noches 👏👏👌👍👏
great deal, I been going to estate sales a lot and no luck on money.
This was in a small town in IL. Got super 🍀
Awesome score, CONGRATS.
Your channel and your recordings delight me, I watch them regularly and I have a channel about coins, so any new experience is welcome, thank you and best regards.
*What a great score mate! Lucky you. :)*
Thanks 🙏! I manage to have some like every once in awhile 🤣
That was great. Well done.
Thanks 🙏! Everyone has to have a little luck sometimes 😂
Wow got this in my reccomended, the views are crazy! And the video, I can’t wait to see it! I’ve been subbed to you since like 13 subscribers btw
Thanks🙏 !
Great buy. Was fun to see the constitutional silver flow out of the yellow envelope. Take care.
Thanks!
Nice 👍
Nice Score!!!!
Great buy.
Thanks!🙏 I got very lucky. 🍀
Nice score congrats.
Scored big on the halves! WTG. It's always fun buying at an auction house.
New here! You are added! Love that set of coins!
Thank you so much I really appreciate it. 🙏
Very nice! Congrats!
Awesome bargain ,nice stack off half dollars,New Subscriber 👍👌
Thanks 🙏!
65 through 69 are 40% silver 64 and older are 90% silver
Very nice purchase
Thanks 🙏!
clad kennedy worth face value all day long
Congratulations q
You might be surprised how much some of those clads go for in high grades. I would certainly be more careful & send a few off to pcgs
Ended up selling them off on eBay. Didn’t feel like gambling on PCGS.
Instant sub. Where do you buy estate auctions? Online, in person?
All of the above. Sometimes you have to gamble though.
Nice score
Thanks 🙏! I got 🍀
Nice pick up!!!
Thanks 🙏! Had some great 🍀
Nice win!
Thanks 🙏!
One time I got a whole box of uncirculated 40% Kennedy Half dollars. It was like 15 years ago. It's not likely to happen again.
Wow 😯!
Those sms sets probably haven't been cherrypicked through yet
Make sure to check the steps on those 71-d nickels.
Oh I did and not a full step to be found
You got lucky with the grab
I definitely did thanks for the comment.
NICE SCORE
Thanks!
Hey where in tampa are you located? I have a bunch of coins that were passed down by my dad and want someone to take a look at them.
There are a handful of good reputable coin shops in the area. I would be happy to point some out.
@@TampaCoinGuy yes please let me know who you recommend
Seems like the old man that stacked that was blind lol
Not only blind, deaf too.
Score!
8:00 you just mixed 1967s in 1968 stack
Zoom in, can’t see the coins.
Lol let me have a few rolls
🤣
Bicentennial
I assume there's some goodies among them so search them for varieties first.
Multiple things you can do with them. Not all these ideas are not so fiscally responsible as they are promotional or fun
Roll the rest of them up for sale on eBay. Their limited run will always have someone want them.
Maybe use them as complementary freebies with some sales? Give always to your RUclips viewers?
It's a family thing for my sibs and kids to pull Bicentennials out of circulation as my brother saves them all..
Maybe just put them back into circulation so folks like me can find them?
Put them in plastic cases with your business info on them and use them as calling/business cards much like was done with pennies at the turn of the last century.
Sell, donate them to an artist/jewelry maker who'd maybe turn them into something neat.
Donate them to someone who visits children's hospitals as gifts for the kids. Might spark yourself a budding collector's imagination.
I'm sure there's more, these are just a few quick ones off the top of my head.
do you find estate sales on a particular website or do you just drive around on a Saturday morning? Great finds btw. Only luck I've had with garage/estate sales was I found a roll of 40% for $40 a couple weeks ago. I snagged them up.
Thanks for the comment! This particular sale I learned about from a friend of mine not one of the standard proxibid, invaluable ore etc. But sometimes I do get lucky on those other sites as well
My uncles is the one who sells these to you just to let u knw they go through everything before they give it to you trust me it’s just a hustle
Generally speaking I know there’s a lot of estate sales that are like that but I don’t know if this one was 🤷♂️. I mean I came out way ahead on this one
@@TampaCoinGuy and they all go through the bag before you get it u really think there gonna give u million dollar coin are coins for that low lol you really don’t knw the hustle it’s ok 👍 u keep buying ok 👌
I mean I don’t doubt that most do. But I know what I paid for these and I know what I sold them for🤷♂️
do you count your 40% coins in with your 90% ones when you count up all your silver coins????????
Yep silver is silver
@@TampaCoinGuy awesome..now i can add another 5 oz to my total silver weight!! THANK YOU!!
It seems that someone went through them and mixed them up.
Jealous
Got totally 🍀. Could have been really bad. Thanks for the view and comment!
My question is are 1965 to 1969 bu halfs worth more than scrap silver price
You might be able to get marginally a little bit better than melt but to me it’s not worth the effort. I am fairly critical about coins when I send a man and I haven’t seen any 40%‘s that have come through my hands that looked truly uncirculated to me.
I GOT some old morgan dollars no clue what thier worth
what camera are you using?
Just an iPhone
The coins of the dead
how much did you buy the lot for?
For the half dollars I believe it was around 650 but alas overpaid for the pennies. I think for the whole collection it was around 1100
I'm never lucky enough to find a decent roll of 64 Lincoln cents..
i have some maybe i could give them to u and a steel penny
We couldn't do the right thing like we did some yrs ago, someone died so like a vulture you go in and take not realizing the surviving spouse proudly did not realize what she or he had,
That would be the estate company not I that made the mistake in the listing. I didn’t know what I was getting outside of 1 picture and a brief description. But yes the estate company that listed it did not do the estate justice.
how much did you pay overall?
I think it was 1100
how much did you pay for this collection
I think about $700 for the half dollars but it’s been a bit
Keep The Nickels they or worth.06 in melt
65 to 6 9's worth more than silver?
I had a total of 276 x 40% which at the time I bought were worth 1075 ish. The 30 x 90% were worth about 285 at the time I bought.
Do you ever sell any of the coins
I do indeed all I have left from this purchase is some rolls of 1960 D pennies
I bought two safes from a estate sale only because I knew the past owner owned a coin business in the past. In the false bottom of the largest safe, I found over 200 city marked federal reserve notes $20.00 bills primarily. In the small safes false bottom I found over 60 ozs. Of gold coins and jewelry. (Most were gold coins in bezels with 14kt chains and others hadn't been made yet. ) Unfortunately, some of the stuff was stolen from my home by lying dirty cops who claimed it was reported stolen many years ago by the original owners ...they evidently collected insurance on the stuff or something. The police later said the stuff disappeared from their evidence locker. Never trust the police. 👁️⚡
How would the cops know you had it?? Stop it
You just let 60oz of gold go to the cops. You realize they can't just come in your house and say you have stolen property....🤦
You don't look for veritys on the nickels
I do with the pre 64 but outside of full steps nope.
I'd buy so.e of the penny's
nice unless you overpaid
It’s been a while since I had this lot but I made somewhere around $500 or $600 profit on it
what did you get it for???
sorry for early comment
Have a giveaway
I just recently had a giveaway. But it didn’t involve anything from this video.
@@TampaCoinGuy thanks still watching
Thank you so much
@@TampaCoinGuy most welcomed
Sell me one from each year :-)
sell bu unc rolls for 10+ a piece on ebay
1300 worth in who's book?
Back when I got it (a few months ago), it was based off of melt
@@TampaCoinGuy for scrap 40%? wow.
Clad halfs worth more than silver scrap price?
The bicentennial‘s to me are just bicentennial‘s and not worth much. But when I actually purchased this silver was about four dollars higher than it is today
Hilarious not so special mint set
Tell us the value of your stuff!
Nice score
Thanks 🙏!
