2 years ago I found 1 1970 NIFC back then! It is the only 1 I have ever found coin roll hunting.

I only found one 1970 S last year. It only took me 5 years to find one lol. Still haven't found a 1987 to complete my Kennedy collection. I still look through customer rolls to look for variety errors. Found a 1972 D no FG a few months ago in a customer roll. Did hit the cycle a couple of years ago. Found Barbers Walkers Ben Franklin's and 64 Kennedy in one box.

BTW, I have had those same type of rolls with the loose ends. I believe they are machine-rolled, especially since you found silver in them!
Wow, that's awesome! I'm going to need you to ship my at least 3 of them boxes. I'll pay the shipping cost. In DFW it's far too many collectors that search. I can search 5 boxes and find no sliver or just 1. Then search customer wrapped and find silver. The market is just tough out here. I had to cut back on halves and have been on quarters and $1 notes hard. Maybe 5 boxes of quarters and 4-6k in notes a week. I ain't gone lie it takes up too much of my time going to so many banks a week. 😅

So found an interesting find this week. A 1996 90% silver proof half in a customer roll in my $500 box. I've never found silver in customer rolls in a fed box.
Can you define a fed box? It’s my understanding, and this could be incorrect that Brinks, Lumis, etc. are getting the coins from the banks and then re-wrapping them. Though Brinks will just turn around and tape a box full of custom re-wraps and send it back out.

Yeah, it’s totally luck of the draw. You just have to keep grinding out the hunt until you hit a score.

I was buying the bags from the coin counter machine. My first bag had a 1987d, 1970d, 46 president gold dollar coins and a 14k gold necklace charm with 3 diamonds. And also 12 other silvers, I cashed the rest back in and still had $499.50. So I got all my keepers and it cost 50 cents...
this man must live in the right area and have no competition because i swear hes always finding a ton of silver what the heck???
I think it’s the sheer amount that I go through every week. And trust me I have seen a lot of boxes of customer re-wraps. So there’s definitely competition. Plus some of my branches will actually not be able to order what I request because they have other people that order half dollars.

That is insane! I always seem to get skunked on bank box halves. I do much better with customer rolls, congrats on the amazing score my friend!
Thanks! I have found that $100 or less of customer wrapped rolls can produce results but typically if it’s more than that it’s probably just someone else’s dump from hunting.

This is an excellent sentiment to have. That’s why I try to do better and when I get them, I just still empty them into a bag and get them processed by one of my banks.
