Saddleback Berlin launches it's first service led by Pastor Dave Schnitter. Germany has a long history of Christianity, but now all the churches sit empty or are re-purposed. Saddleback Church hopes to reach the people of Berlin wherever they are and give them a family.

What Pastor Dave said about Berlin being an "elbow" society reminds me of my own city of Toronto. It is also a big city with a lot of people but not a lot of meaningful relationships between each of them.
