Sarah you know I love you. Since I'm stuck at home due to this Modelo flu, I've binged your TT vids for the last 3 days. You have inspired me to start my first project car in 15 years. I bought at an online auction with just 5 pictures, a 1993 Ford Taurus SHO with only 114k miles for the low low price of $350. Besides the jacked up clear coat, the body has no rust and only a small 3 inch scar and it needs new head lights. You won't be able to buff these out. Got an interior quote for under $2k going full leather. So thanks to you I'm in my happy place!!! Keep up the good work. Thanks for being you!

I absolutely adore how much you are enjoying the merc. Bimmers and mercs really are a pleasure and joy to rip. and wrenching on them is actually way more fun, the engineering means a little more to it, but they are worth the extra components.

I bought a 2019 C43 AMG for $41,500. Basically I bought somebody’s loan because they couldn’t make the payments. Unfortunately, somebody else’s loss is my gain.
It’s sick AF. Totally murdered out in all black. Obsidian black, AMG black wheels and the night package black leather. Just what I wanted, it is so awesome!
I just love your back-seat explanations of all the internal combustion engine car attributes that are so really yesterday. But you do it so well with humor that many folks will still buy gas powered cars. And yes , let's go 'topless' in Tucson, Arizona in the summer ! ! ! OUCH ! ! ! ( But here I am still watching your channel ! )

My daily driver is a 2009 C350 with an AMG package. I love the way it performs. It's also (surprisingly) not expensive to maintain.

I own an SLK55 AMG with the 5.5L V8, and I can't say enough great things about it. You need to drive a few AMG's, you will fall in LOVE!!

Sarah... When you do the Garage Science part, I would highly suggest that you put captions/titles of the HP and Torque figures on screen for us to read while you are talking.. Even more if your could put HP and KW stats on screen that would be great! Love your videos, I never miss one!

The AMG version is amazing to drive I did a driving experience at Mercaedes brooklands and drove both C class C63 AMG & G class G63 AMG best day ever. 👍

The bird was warning you away!! My sister's father-in-law was a Mercedes guy. He said that he loves the car but it is $1,000 every time he goes for maintenance. That was in the 80's, hahaha. It's still true for M-B and you can get an S-Series for peanuts when the warranty is over. Then, you get for paying all the expensive trinkets and bits.

I’m not sure what the flip up screen at the windshield is, but the one in back is for wind that comes from the back that blasts into the interior. They are very effective at calming down wind 👍

I was expecting a little bit of love for the water-air intercooler.
You'd be surprised at how often timing chains, or the components they touch, fail on modern, extra efficient, low internal friction engines. VW has been putting timing chains in the rear for years, it hasn't worked terribly well for them.
The M264 is a front timing chain layout, however the inline 6 M256 it's related has a rear drive timing chain, along with a 'auxiliary' electric turbocharger, and no drive belt at all; I really hope that engine ages well.
VW and in some years sadly Mercedes too used too slim timing chains.

For $60k you can get A mid engine 500 hp V8, Dct 7 spd...with a targa top, with 6 piston calipers & ice cold AC...leather and carbon fiber interior...its A 2020 C8 Corvette...gysot...if you need a backseat most of the time, get a mini van...109 in Tucson today too.

I know this has nothing with new car reviews but there’s a 2014 C63 507 Edition on Autotrader with 26,000 miles for $50k. Just sayin’. I’m glad you’re getting more and more cool cars to review.
The timing chain being in the back is a big deal if you want to buy and keep - People who lease have no fear. BUT, the chain needs to be replaced at around 175k miles as it is only a single row chain, but the biggest issue is the plastic timing chain guides and the chain tensioner which will break. I love these new Mercedes cars (have a 2012 C250-chain in front) but it seems that the big 3 euro automakers focus on making AMAZING cars that are meant to be leased which is sad.
Agree with you Sarah, luxurious car. Modest price tag in the US. Here in Germany Mercedes is even more expensive. If you want a smooth driver leave the AMG trim package out and save some money. Or take the real AMG V8 biturbo. But then it‘s the price of two Mustang GT.
Why are MB more expensive in Germany? That's always hard to make sense when they don't incur shipping etc.....

Bought an older version of that recently (Black and Red leather interior) CLK320 and I must admit they are a very nice drive.
Needs a few upgrades and maybe an SS exhaust for a more meaty sound :)

We had a MB C230 with low profile tires, six flats, 2 bent rims, never ever ever would I own another car with low profile tires.
I agree ☝🏻 go to a slightly higher wall tyre - cheaper and better ride.....

That acceleration sounded it had a V6? Is there a engine sound synthesizor? Btw Sarah, when You were standing next to the car giving the bean score You could come a little towards the camera. Your head was a little out of frame. The cookie score got You a little hangry (hungry+angry=hangry) 😂

I owned 2 Mercs: a 1991 500 SL with Quad cam V8. Superb engine and I used to love drifting it in the UK roundabouts. The other was a 2000 CLK AMG 550. Went like s*** off a shovel. :-)

I have a 2020 C63s AMG Coupe that I would submit to get reviewed. Not stock though, upgraded turbos/meth injection.Putting down 680rwhp. It's nuts. Would love to see someone drive it haha.
What's the 0 to 60 acceleration, and 60 to 0 braking distance on this beast you modded?
@@nataliegrn17 you know stock was 3.8-3.9 and after I did everything to it the best 0-60 I could get was 3.5. Now that's only when it would hook up. Most times it doesn't. I just got some forged wheels in today with the correct offset to allow me to run 305 drag radials so Im hoping that will help.
The wheels are clean and sharp. More makers need to take note.

You have the same problem with cabrios we have in Spain. Either freeze to the penguins point of joy in winter or you burst into flames in summer.
The seat belt in my red interior Celica. literally I don't know if it's going to help in a crash at all because it barely even cinches up so I don't know what to do I might get one out of Seventh Generation because mine is the 5th generation so maybe that will work better cuz I already swapped it out with a gray one I don't know?
