Great to see you are still keeping the machines in tip top shape. Great to hear from you again and i have never forgot you sent me guitar strings from all the way down there when I had none. Thanks for that effort 👍👍
I'm very interested in watching this one Zig. Hopefully the customer is willing to spend on putting boost appropriate parts (pistons} in it. Cheers mate.
@@victorbitter583 that’s very true, but interestingly, you didn’t really see the same thing with the Nissan skyline and it had the exact same motor in it as the VL Commodore………
Just watched this again. It's definitely not going to suffer from lag. Any chance you can talk him into a bigger turbo or is 10-12lbs about the target?
The crossflow Falcon 6 was popular to turbo charge back in the 80s
Some kits, some complete packages from Mike Vine, and Dick Johnson
Can see Zig building a beast as usual.
Cheers Pete.

We got pistons and rods coming and we'll try to put in an Intec crank I think....My as well...we've got a bunch of those engines.
@@ziggassedup Good to bloody hear mate. can't wait!
Looks like a nice job. But if anyone can get it done you can Zig, Cheers mate
Should be a fun engine job...Cheers Lloyd.
Pretty cool stuff Ziggy
Hey Scotty..!!!!...Long time mate...Good to hear from you.
I think I’ve seen on the Internet the Ford 250 crossflow voted as one of, if not the most reliable production motors in history….
I used to work in a cylinder head shop and we didn't see too many of them. VL commo heads on the other hand.. Comin out the ying yang.

That's because the radiator was mounted higher in the Nissan.
Could be...
@@thewholls7176 That's because the Holden had a fatal flaw in the radiator design that the Nissan did not.
