For me this was a real game changer in terms of their chemistry. It was like they had gone from teenagers to adults. I loved how romantic Clarke was, how desperate for Lana to stay. That kiss.. in my opinion is the best one yet. Thank you for being one of many shows that made my childhood. There will never be casts, acting, music and talent like that! RIP to good movies and tv shows. The late 90s and early 2000's were a masterpiece. The same with Roswell,the OC and One tree hill🫶

It’s lovely to see Lana so independent. She has suffered so much throughout her career. Seeing her break free and take risks, believing in the greater good is something very rewarding. Although their relationship has had its ups and doente due to their immaturity, I love this couple. Nothing would separate them.

I love how all of these true love scenes between a fierce passionate couple like Lana and Clark gets stuffed in ”Clois fans” face. Alot more than Lois and Clark. As Clark and Lana themselves always said, they will always love each other, no matter what. Sorry, not sorry.
I totally agree with you! Its amazing, its 2023 and we feel more strongly about clana. Their story had so mich depth and meaning then suddenly its over? Until now, i havent watched full seasons 9 and 10 😅

I recently decided to watch the show from beginning again as it has been many years since i saw it and i enjoyed it even more to be honest from watching it again. I definitely recommend finish watching the s9 and s10 when you can. Got some really good and groundbreaking episodes on those seasons.
@@BeaWalshI actually find it pretty poetic that it's Lex of all people to finally put an end to Clark's most toxic relationship which also outsmarted a pretty delusional Lana. We already saw Lana's greed, dishonest and manipulative side enough one season before and this was going to be a repetition of that. At that point it's not even love anymore, just the usual ex vicious cycle Clark keeps falling into every single season. Especially after she got involved with Lex and literally cucked Clark with Bizzarro by admitting she felt the latter was better.
I felt like this was one of Tom’s last scene where he showcases his vulnerability, the sincerity in his eyes when he’s saying all the words to Lana,you’re right you can’t deny chemistry, even though Tom won’t admit it I think he was team clana… just my take 😂no hate to Lois because she was an important, fun addition to the series … tho undoubtedly if the clana thing wasn’t so fire, they would of booted lana after season 3, and built the clois love story further. I don’t think smallville would of been what it was without clana, they were the backbone.

And that's *_exactly_* what I do, too. Even if the point of the series is the Clark-to-Superman transformation, once they eliminated the heart of the show - basically replacing a fantastic relationship (and chemistry) with absolute corn - it just wasn't worth watching. I have to stop at this episode, because everything after this point just trivializes, and destroys, the 7+ seasons that built up to it. It's funny when a "superhero show" is far more attractive for it's romance than it is for the superhero aspect.
I hate this scene because it really makes it hard to believe Clark's declaration of love to anyone. He becomes so quick to commit to Lois after this that it calls into question whether he truly loved anyone
