I play that game too, but I like Post Scriptum for different reasons that I like HLL. One is that there is more teamwork required in PS. Also, I like the historical accuracy and also the different factions and weapons. The gameplay is also slightly different. I feel like you can play PS with more of a strategic mind. HLL has strategy, but it's more arcadey. I used to play HLL a lot but after the recent updates and the trailer debacle, it's taken a backseat to other games. I'll probably revisit it again soon though. @@fandohub

This game is better than hell let loose cause their are more weapons to use and more tanks and the maps are from other years and some lesser known operations hell France is a faction in this game he’ll let loose ain’t got no French faction or French vehicles
I truly don't understand why this game died. It has some of the best infantry and tank combat I've seen in any game. It's incredible. The dev team was too slow at pushing out updates and they should've started with the Americans.. That's one of the reasons it lost players so quickly.. That and them not delivering on deadlines.
And it's a shame because they got the Greek army (or is it a mod) but either way it would have been great to see lesser known POVs of WW2 like the Polish and Finnish
Game is only 5 years old and already nobody plays it. (100 players online). For example, I play Battlefield 1942 and there is 100 players online but the game is.... 20 years old! People get bored way too fast these days!
PS was the only game that gave me unforgetable moments after discovering WoW in 2006. Still playin it to this day, the soundeffects and the gunplay is unmatched imo.

PS will always be better than HLL for me. It was more fun in general, less frustrating, and there was far more squad interaction in general than HLL by a large margin. More often than not you join a squad in HLL and it feels like barely anyone has a mic. It's sad to see a lot of those 'Squad clones' of years past have just completely fallen off.
@@K-Nyne I mean chin straps on the chin buddy, us paratroopers wore their chin straps correctly or loose, not on top of the helmet. on the other hand Germans and Soviets always wore their chin straps
@@60q967 paratroopers did wear their regular straps on their helmets. Their jump straps, with the chin cup, they would take off or stuff in their helmet after the jump.

I loved this game since it was launched and this is really sad =( every match was like saving private ryan. I do not know how hell let loose win and post was abandon? maybe bad marketing? Hope someday people comeback to play it before we all die next year in WWIII.
When i used to play post scriptum i heard some people talking how the dev team never really implimented a multicore feature allowing cpus to help the game run at a much better frame rate

Why would you work so hard from a mod on a game then turn a mod into a game spend all the time and effort to make it available then let it decline and become poop.
PS playerbase has always come off as pretty meh, Hell Let Loose always gets the stick from them for some reason. I think PS appeals to a niche, and HLL isn't milsim enough for that niche, and so they attack it when HLL is different type of game. It's like saying COD is better than HLL because it's MORE arcadey because that arcadeyness is what you define as good, but it's subjective - they're GAMES afterall. There are people that a game appeals to, and people that a game doesn't - if you don't appeal to enough then your gunplay and factions can be as good as you like, the lack of players is a valid issue in that game due to pursuing the glee of a small % of players, and that's not working for them. If PS was as great as it's fans believe it wouldn't constantly be nearly dead, while the "awful" HLL excels.
Damn man, this was probably my fav ww2 milsim to play. Shame to see it dwindle in population as this was 1000000x better then HLL. I remember a couple of years ago there was like 2000 people playing and finding a server was no problem :(.
As far as i know they fired their entire team of people who work on this game and now really the only people who can update it (sort of) is the community by the help of mods
