Now we can anxiously await (again) the release of the movie! Thank you for doing this and thanks for the various pictures, so many people use one picture for their entire video!
@Sci Fi Secrets especially those sometimes heady words you only see in sci-fi or fantasy books. You never hear anyone else say them, so all you have is how it sounds in your own head.
I own all the books since the early 90s. I read the final one in less than a day (there's a major cliffhanger between the 3rd and the 4th). Although the 1st one seems different (written yrs b4 the 2nd) the whole story still makes me feel that the Universe is much more than we think of. A.C. Clarke and G. Lee created something amazing and almost unreachable for other hard SciFi authors. I hope that IF ever someone makes a movie, respect for this masterpiece will be the major rule. Anything else would be a sacrilege...
I'll give you a head start: Read ANYTHING by Isaac Asimov! Anything by Robert Silverberg, Robert Heinlein, Larry Niven and Arthur C Clarke. Of the later authors, read Ian (M) Banks (the books with an "M" are "hard" SF, whilst his other books are wider ranging), Stephen Baxter, and Peter F Hamilton. Unlike many genres, the short story is big in SF, so try to find as many anthologies by single and multiple authors as you can.
Great content, really, but the book is unbelievingly boring. Arthur is killing you with unbelievable amount of details. Basically the book is about describing a space ship/world that is very boring and nothing really happens there. I would probably never read anything from him any more. Ok, it was maybe interesting back then, but today is kind of dull.

Masterful summary. I cannot wait to see what you tackle next. Great job!
I love your content, man. One small note: Tableau is pronounced "Tab-loh".
Its amazing how many words I learn I don't know, when I make these videos. Lol.
