- A more personal video regarding my perspectives and experience in creating personal work in comics. Not really a tutorial, not really a vlog, just a bunch of tangents I usually edit out of my other videos.

i really really love ur channel. Really good to heal artblock
Thanks immensely. Artblock is awful, really touched my work can support rough times like that. Sometimes we just have to wait it out, but it's really difficult.
Comics are in a werid space, I still love reading physical work but you cant get big unless your digital nowadays. I guess with how Lore Olympius went, the hope is to get big enough your comic gets a pyhsical printing. love the transparancy in your videos, have you tried printing digital sketches and doing analog inking ? I agree something about analog vs digital creation is a lot more rewarding.
It's so hard to get agented in order to go traditional publishing. I tried in the past and am going to give it another shot, but Scott McCloud was right all the way back predicting the potential of digital comics. Emily Carroll I think got a book deal based on her webcomics. I haven't tried the printing sketch to analog ink--thats a great idea! My friend is a graphic novelist and he used to do all physical, but moved to Clip Studio when he got a book deal. It's possible, but an intersection of timing, luck, work, and meeting the right people, is hard to find.
@luckamooey reading Scott's books and his web comics showed me how ahead of the times he was. Exploring different mediums to convey stories is what makes comics and art so much fun to make and enjoy. Dave mckean comes to mind blending digital and pyhsical media.
