Hi, I'm Zoe welcome to my channel.
I have been doing art since I was little and here is where I share my ideas with it.
I also have Autism and other co-occurring issues. If you like my work and have means to show appreciation, you can donate towards my Registered Disability Savings Plan through my PayPal. It can be found in my links. Kinda like “buy me a coffee” but more “help me with housing after 50”.
Thank you for watching :)

Self Portrait in Therapy

I was gifted the Animators Survival Kit and already it has helped me develop. But I have a long way to go! I used Toonsquid with a variety of their brushes and my own, playing with different frame lengths and overlaying crosshatches to create movement. This is closer to what I envision my "style" to be, however, it took so much time I don't know if I have the tenacity to do this for every frame...

First Lip Sync in Toonsquid
Просмотров 10428 дней назад
This is my first try doing Lip Syncing. It was so difficult for me lol. I see in my head how I want it to look and it is so not that. I did not use the Markers technique in Toonsquid because I am having trouble understanding it, despite the tutorials. But I'm determined to figure it out. I also realized for it not to look stiff, I have to change the facial expressions. The more subtle the bette...
Out of Pegs in Toonsquid

A guided explanation of the Out-of-Pegs option in the animation app Toonsquid. As a beginner, this was a little tough for me to figure out and explain as there were several elements at play I had to acquaint myself with. I hope that this video provides clarity into this specific tool, as it is super useful for developing our in-betweens and/or providing detail within our creations. If you know ...

Toonsquid Tutorial: Keyframing, Transform Hierarchy & Frame-by-Frame
Flipping frames and adjusting timing on the fly in Procreate Dreams is unparalleled❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
@Tonabillity I'm looking forward to the update, too. I'm definitely going to give it another try. After time away, I do feel there are several things that are quite cool
Lot's of goodies I hadn't figured out yet! I'm so grateful for your channel!
You're welcome, doing this helped me too! I need to spend way more time with vector! Im glad its helpful :)
I didn't even know what pegs was, let alone that it was in toonsquid, that's super useful !(came here from your recent overview video on understanding the interface)
that was difficult for me to figure out too. I also didn't understand the name but it goes back to how traditional animation was held together by a bar with pegs in it, and to move something you'd take the peg out and shift it (I hope this is an accurate description). So then I realized how that made sense and helped me get the idea digitally!
Didnt know about the boomerang loop mode in the timeline. Thx.
@@sichtbeton no problem!
Just what I was looking for, thanks!
yay! Glad it found you and was helpful
That amanita is such a pleasent vibe
@EliezerRoqueCisneros thank you, that was my own grain I made
wow, really powerful and very beautiful. I'm deeply sorry if this is a true story, if not it's maybe even more artistically impressive. Made me cry a bit, really impressive. Thanks for creating!
Thank you deeply for watching and sharing your impressions. It means a lot to me. Im very grateful.
This is good stuff .
Thank you very much for your support!
Your voice is so soothing. Great tutorial!
aww, thanks so much. Im really glad it was helpful :)
What a great idea for a video! This also gives me a sort of baseline to look at the brushes I use. This is awesome!
@mparis130 Thank you! That is my intention with this series. I have had trouble figuring it out myself, I created these for others to kick my own butt in learning all the things otherwise I definitely wouldn't haha
Speaking my language
@UMBeams whoohoo! Thanks for your time watching I really appreciate it!
amazing such great overview in details really like this nitty gritty stuff have you checked heavypaint yet?
Wow! this is such a cool series! I'm so grateful to have found your channel by algo recommendation Thank you for sharing, can't wait to check out your gumroad page
Oh my gosh! you have toonsquid brushes, LETS GO!!
You're welcome thanks so much! very glad to hear Im being recommended, thats very exciting. Thanks for checking out my brushes. Unless I spend copious time on them or are of shapes and grains that I personally developed, they will be free
@@luckamooey Honestly, that's totally fair
Loving this series
Yay! Thank you, it's my focus for January (and this year at large) as I work on more in depth videos for other topics. Thanks for watching!
Thank you! Nice to see people like you doing excellent work.
You're welcome thanks for watching I am glad the video is helpful!
Thanks so much! I love your brush videos as I never really take advantage of all the brushes that procreate gives us
You're welcome! I started this series because I realized how much I didn't know about the Brushes, and it's been really fun and fascinating to share and hear other peoples ideas and experiences. You can really spend forever in all the possibilities!
This is incredible. Horrifyingly real. I love the visuals and story alike. Thank you for making this!
You're welcome. Thanks so much for viewing and sharing your thoughts.
how is the sun coming in from a high angle when you can clearly see its just over the horizon in the first pannel... isnt that a raccord error?
great vid anyway :)
@@Voltios-bb3gy good catch. I often have continuity errors in my work on first pass. I think it's also good to note that our first ideas can contain mistakes, so you should always have an editor or someone else to read/view before publishing, if possible. Thanks for watching!
Really like the mood on this. Great work !
thank you very much!
I like the soundtrack! Where do you get them? Good editing👌
Thanks! I use Epidemic Sound, just the Personal Tier that clears sound design for my RUclips. However, I take a lot of time filtering through options for one sound piece, separate the tracks and see what I can find sound wise in there. This is from one song, but cut up and mixed around.
@ Ah.. I see. I was wondering. Since you either make a clip to go with music. Or.. editing music to go with the clip. Nifty!
Hihi how can i add lens blur in my procreate dream. My don't have. Thx u
Under the Playhead (clapboard icon), a hidden drop-up menu appears for all the key framing feature possibilities--lens blur should be included. If not, you may not have updated Dreams when they introduced Lens Blur (about 3 months ago). Check the App Store it will show if you have the latest updates within the last few months
This is good news!
Im really looking forward to the Brush Library revamp. I think it may arrive earlier than Dreams, but that'd be awesome (if overwhelming) if they dropped them together!
Wonderful 🎉
@@cartoondesignrevealed thanks for watching!
good job, thats took some work. i did a little mouthsync japanese style, using 3 mouths and animating in 3s, it simpler but it didnt look bad.
thank you! I am just now learning about all the possibilities for timing and sync--I want to try that simpler version!
i love your chanel
Thank you so much for your support! It means a lot :)
They didnt introduce the lasso tool possibly because the user shall be forced to use the selection tool from procreate and import that into dreams. Which is why you need to buy both of the softwares. I dont see any other reasons for not introducing such a basic feature.
ahhh...I can see that. I was having resolutions with my fav brush from the start, had to use the drawing app immediately in conjunction with Dreams.
I think its pretty good for a first time o.o my first time doing it i struggled to figure out which mouth movements to go with the audio o.o
thank you, it took so much time! Me as well, I was sounding it out as I aligned the sounds to my drawings. I read that you can put an anticipatory frame of the sound shape a little bit before when it actually happens, to makes it more flowy and realistic :)
Excelent video, Thanks
you're very welcome, I am glad it was helpful!
Thank you! I didn't know about this functionality in ToonSquid. I am also a newbie using this software and I am having a tough time with it. Your videos are a big help.🙂
Yay! Im glad it was helpful. Its definitely an app that needs studying and isn't immediately intuitive, but I'm enjoying the process of figuring it all out
Try toonsquid
I ended up switching over to TS and I love it!
@ same I can’t wait for the big update soon
Weird and I like it

Callipeg is now the other option
Wow, this is really powerful. You communicated emotion through colour, texture, and movement so well (I really felt the characters emotions). A heavy but important story to tell.
thanks for taking your time to watch my work. I really appreciate it
Really cool, glad to see you finished it!

@randomshit4737 thanks for watching! I appreciate it
This really helped! I bingewatched a lot of videos about perspective and designing backgrounds but this one really solidified the concepts for me. I think it's the wording and the visuals.
Really glad it was helpful and thank you for the feedback, it's really helpful for my development of future videos :)
beatiful video super super helpful to me as a cartoonist working on my own series. Thank u so mech keep making these please!
@nd.mangaka Thanks so much for watching and I'm glad it was helpful :) These types take me longer to make but it's alot of fun. Im hoping maybe 1 or 2 every 2 months. Thanks for your encouraging comment!
Its just so sad this video is 7 months old and nothing has changed
They just had an update yesterday regarding losing your work within the app. That was a major problem, so Im glad it was addressed but now it's almost a year into release and no lasso? At this point it's really weird. I would totally try Dreams again when they have that tool. But overall, I haven't looked back after switching programs.
@luckamooey ive been coping all this time but now its just crazy to me that its taken this long when they said itd be released 'very soon'. I had a lot of respect for savage before but the way theyve handled dreams has made me question why Ive waited so long.
I starting learn more about storyboard, i have a Ipad and is so hard make animatic, so I want know this procreate Dreams are good for this work, ? I dont have PC just a tablet. sorry my english i learning too
I made about half of my animatic on Dreams--it was good for helping me layout my short film however some essential tools for my personal work flow are missing. I will always recommend Toonsquid over Dreams because of its capabilities. It's also half the price.
@@luckamooey Toonsquid, I never hear about it, THX so much, for recomendad this
Well struck.
Liked the clock ticking transitioned to the eye blinking. Neat! 👌
Cool. Don't know if this helps but I create loops in movie clips, like the legs walking etc. Then using keyframe animation on the main timeline move the clip in the x axis Use Vector brush. Just what I do now. Previously I drew the complete walk cycle on the main timeline. But this is faster for me.
ah, this is so helpful! ive been working on this hallway scene for so long. im new to animation and the app, finding efficient pathways is so important. thank you
I too fell for the massive marketing from all the so called Art influencers. They got my Procreate Dreams money. Wow, what a mental drain! Regular Procreate is better for animation than dreams! And the people still gaslighting this software keep saying - wait for the update to fix this or that… dude! They already took my money. Anyone who wants a better experience try ToonSquid.
