I’m miserable!” Then we took another vehicle. Now I have a 2022 eco convertible (same black color as the one in your video). Dad gets in the back and says “I’m not miserable now! Great choice!” Lol definitely more room back there
Most families have more than one car. Backseats aren't necessary on every car. They should have a backseat delete option and just increase the cargo area.
Yeah 99% aren’t using mustang as a family car I agree. I think it’s also there to save on insurance as it can be classified as a regular coupe than sports car
and i would assume sun heat exhaustion too for back passengers in a coupe. definitely have to run the air conditioner. the convertible looks so less claustrophobic.
If the new mustang generation drops the fastback the 2.3 4 cylinder with a 6 speed would be a lot more compelling to someone cross shopping a fwd sports sedan and the gt could undercut the 4 series.
I think Ecoboost helps drives potential buyers into the dealership then they are sold the GTs lol. I think for what GT offers in its price, it's actually pretty competitive. Comparable BMW would M4 that starts double the price
Are your back windows not up all the way (@1:06)? Or have you got the dreaded rear window issue? I thought they had fixed that (my '18 doesn't have that problem) long ago. And I carry people in the back on occasion, my son (~5'8") and sometimes adult ladies (>5'6") but at nearly 6'2", I'm pretty squished against the pedals and wheel when someone is behind me.
They roll up just fine. I just needed some air lol. I actually have a 2019 mustang gt, this was just an Ecoboost I came across to film couple videos. How do you like yours?
@@Red5oh I like it just fine. Has plenty of power for an old guy like me. I just wanted a cruiser. I bought a very well equipped EB convertible for probably what a standard GT coupe would have cost. When I bought the car in ‘18, a similar GT would have been about CDN$11K more, and I didn’t really feel that it was worth it, at least not to me, and no, money was not an issue. I expect to soon start doing a lot of road trips, so the excellent fuel economy that the EB provides in cruise will be a bonus.

Yup the fast back design doesn’t help the rear seat headspace. I was surprised too when I sat in the back lol

That’s a great point I didn’t think about that! Mustang doesn’t have vents in the back too so that’s another downside
I sat in the back seat in my car while my girl drove and actually there is good enough space well for my height which is 5.6” fell asleep haha 😆

how can you fold the back seats of convertible mustang?
Unfortunately convertible seats are fixed and can’t be folded down. Only coupe rear seats fold down
