      Thanks for writing in! According to the owners manual the recommended oil grade is 10w30. There is not much options available in that grade. I am also searching for the best oil available. As of now it's better to go with Honda recommended oil only. Motul is always my preferred brand. But I cannot see 7100 oi 5100 in 10w30.

    HEYY bro loved your review about this 300f ...See i currently own a apache rr310 which is a big vibrating machine a lot of vibe down from 1000rpm to the redline rpms like irritating vibes from tank handlebar footpegs and seat full like it literally tickles it have much more power than a cb300f but not soo worth it so i just wanted to know the vibration aspect of this motorcycle like how is it till 5-6 rpm and smoothness since it is a oil cooled motor?

    • @EzMeck
      @EzMeck  Год назад

      Thanks for writing in! I have not ridden rr310. But I have ridden first gen Dukes and dominar. I can confirm that compared to those cb300f is much refined. I would not say it vibrates, but it has some buzz around the handlebar end and the tank covers and the footpegs after 100kmph. And the buzz does not increase with speed and rpm.it just adds on a character to the machine. If you compare this with 150cc machines like fz r15 they don't have that buzz. Coming from a 150cc yamaha, first time I felt like it's annoying, but now I feel it's more of a character to the machine. I liked the way it revs and the way it roars. People who are saying this bike vibrates, they should ride dominar 400 or first gen Dukes. Please give it a shot to understand how it is. 5-6k rpm you can do all day for sure. My detailed practical review on this will be like soon. Stay tuned!!

    Sir nice review. I am torn between cb300f vs cb300r, which one to get I need an agile street bike for traffic, I am 5.8, sold my husqverna 250 as I did not like the vibration, and handling, seat height and low ground clearance etc…am looking for a smooth engine, want to I can pillion my wife, father for occasional office commute. what about the vibrations compared to other bikes to test rode..

    • @EzMeck
      @EzMeck  11 месяцев назад +1

      It's a little buzzy after 6k but not vibey. It's a overall well balanced bike for Indian roads, good low end torque, excellent ground clearance, very good riding posture, and very reachable seat height. Only downside I would point out is the headlight and pillon seat, both need to be modified, as I have done already. Now it's the perfect allrounder for me.

      @EzMeck  Год назад

      Both are good bikes. Gixxers engine is a screamer. It loves to redline. Cb is a torque master. Acceleration is better in cb, but as it's redlined at 8.5k rpm top speed is not that great. But it's stability handling brakes and riders triangle is superb. Feels much more engaging than gixxer. If you are not a racer and top speed does not matter to you. Then cb is any day better than Gixxer at the discounted price point.

      Performance of cb is same as Duke 250 upto 120kmph. At times it's even better than Duke. Its lighter and more nible than Duke. Duke has better performance in top end. Also cb returns a much better mileage than Duke. You get the raw power of the Duke at 70k less, If you can compromise top end a lil.

    Will sproket alteration increase its top speed

    • @EzMeck
      @EzMeck  Год назад

      The power band of this bike is confined in lower rpm, it is designed to ride in city, has ample torque to pull the bike with PIllion in even high altitudes, and that sacrifices the top speed by a bit. As the redline is 8.5k rpm. A smaller rear sprocket may increase the top end.

      Yes there is, vibrations just between 5500rpm to 6500rpm. you cannot expect a butter smooth 300cc single cylinder engine. Its not like doing 100 in Honda unicorn. But I must say it does that effortlessly, and the vibrations are not irritating. I have done 250km rides, mostly highway, 100-110 is easily doable for the entire day.
