You have made my day. I have been a Muslim for more than 30 years, but you inspire me when I listen to you. May Allah strengthen, provide, and guide you
Salam aleykoum pay attention it's can be shirk to say that you have made my day It's the little shirk but it is not good to that just some causes which can make you happy for a moment
WOW! Assalamu Alakium! Thank you for sharing your story because I CAN RELATE so much of it! I decided to pray and fast this past Ramadan (2024) and I experienced a healing I never had before while I was Christian and after studying Buddhism for over 7 years. I am nervous to tell my family and would love to connect outside of here because I am so ready to fully embrace it but afraid of how they will take me! The part where your mom went off triggered me and I am SO INSPIRED that you went forward with conviction and steadfastness! I am praying every day and studying the Quran and Bible, and fully believe the Quran is the pure Word of GOD. I love everything about Islam and what it represents for true believers. Thank you again and again! I hope you are open to connecting personally.
as someone who was born muslim, this was so inspiring. i admire so many reverts for yall dedication & passion for islam. this definitely pushes me to increase my iman. alhamdulilah 🫶🏽
Asalaamu aliakum as a born Muslim we also go through these ups and downs but you have to be strong and believe that Allah put us through test and as long as we are living we will be going through these tests and challenges. At the end every difficulty comes ease. May Allah protect and guide us all. Allahuma Ameen
Wow. I so feel for you putting myself in your shoes when Mum was shouting at you. That's so brave to keep the face and faith straight. May Allah guide you and us
Wonderful vid sis and you are right as a daughter of a revert I now have had all the comforts that a born Muslim has due to her sacrifice, your future kids will be proud, may Allah replace all you have lost in this world and the next!
SubhanaAllah!!!! My beautiful Ukhti this was so beneficial and wisdom and beautiful advice you’re sharing with us all may Allah ta’A’la Reward you and all the Muslims/Believers Ameen🤲🏾🤲🏾 May Allah ta’A’la Guide your mom to this beautiful way of Life Ameen🤲🏾🤲🏾♥️🌹
Absolutely amazing, what you said is so deep and true, and most of the time as born Muslims we don't realize the gifts of being born Muslim, and your story is very inspiring because I realized that what I have received since my birth has been a subject of struggle for you, and you have fought for it. It is literally the same as the companions of the Prophet (pbuh). Big up to all the reverts of the world, and never forget that Allah (swt) has reserved a great great reward for all your struggle. Mau Allah (swt) bless you sister and give you the best for this world and the hereafter.
As Salamualykum sister❤ please don't stop posting. As a Muslim this post helped me a lot, especially now that I'm writing finals and so overwhelmed. Jazakallah khair
I cried while watching this video may Allah reward you sister I wish you were my family number and please pray for my daughter we’re Muslim but she’s not doing good I need everyone’s prayers please 🙏
Awwww I absolutely love you sis! Honestly you inspire you. May Allah bless you and grant you protection in this world and the hereafter, and continue to shower you in strength, love, light, and courage. I look forward to watching your videos. AND DO MORE VLOGS IN AFRICA GURL!
Aalia, may Allah make this journey easy you and for us all. We are all in this together. Even us born Muslim we still struggle. I love you and wish you all the best.
Woow, MachaAllah you are so beautiful. I’m a Senegalese and Texan like you ❤. I have been a Muslim all my life , but you are teaching me how to be a better Muslim. I believe YaAllah put you here for this reason. You’re helping others in so many ways.I just discovered your channel and I love it. Keep up with the good work sister and may Allah bless you and bless us all 🙏🏾🥳
Alhumdulilah soooo inspiring! Thank you for being open and sharing your story. You have no idea how much you impacted people within a positive way. May Allah swt continue to bless you with goodness and ease! Ameen! 💕💕💕
Your story reminds me of the story of Prophet Ibrahim (AS). Just as he faced challenges and had to leave his hometown for the sake of Allah, you, too, are walking a path of faith and trust in Allah. May Allah guide you, ease your journey, and guide your family as well. Remember, making duaa for them is one of the best things you can do.We all face struggles in this life, but it's important to stay strong and trust that Allah tests us for a reason. As long as we are alive, we will encounter tests and challenges, but with every difficulty comes ease. May Allah protect, guide, and grant us all steadfastness. Allahumma Ameen.
Wow girl I’m so sorry for what u had to go through so sorry u had to experience any of that and I’m glad u made it a positive outcome and revert instead , that’s the best thing you could do I to struggle with the same you did with the yelling and screaming hateful things it sucks 😔and the words and yelling is so heartbreaking and I’m also a new revert girl ur amazing literally, and the hijab color I love ✨✨
Hello sister Aalia 😢😢your story is so emotional may Allah reward your and your lovely husband Allah has a big surprise for your in future please continue your journey and you would be happy forever inshallah 🙏🙏
Aalia you had the same mindset I had as a Christian. An ex asked me “when you pray do you pray to God or Jesus.” I replied God with the air of “God duh” then it dawned on me I didnt have the same belief about Jesus. While studying Islam I would prostrate throughout the day as an agnostic and in college it would be in the space in the bathroom where the trash can is usually. My conversion was a secret cuz my grandma swore it was for a man-- chile that man wasn’t even a good example of a Muslim to influence me. Being Muslim for 13 years I have definitely back slid but I’m constantly setting my intention to learn and be better. May Allah grant us all tawfeeq! Thank you for sharing your story.
Secondly having my grandma turn on me broke my heart cuz I expected her support but it pushed me to stand in my conviction to be Muslim. Glad you didnt let your mom’s words deter you from learning.
Im a Muslim born Mach’Allah but sister listening to you making me wonder”what am i doing wrong 🤣 Allahuma barek may Allah keep u in islam make it easier for u everyday In Shaa Allah may he keep guiding u into the path of siratal mustahin. And to my Senegalese brother please take care of her beug ko ta yalla rek takh sameu ko djapaleko🙏🏾
Thank you for sharing your journey Aalia! MashAllah, it takes a lot of courage to share so authentically and your story really touched my heart. I am a revert as well, and so much of what you shared about the importance of finding community really resonated with me (and how easy it is to sometimes slip into isolation). Subhanallah, every stage serves a purpose and it's beautiful to see how much you have grown through your experiences. May Allah SWT guide, protect, and bless you!
@Aaliareeves you truly are strong! I honestly felt so sick to my stomach hearing those hurtful things. Like how could a mother say that to her daughter!!! 😭 Like whoa and expect her to want to follow a faith you profess? 🤔 That's Not okay! But alas, look at where you are now! For sure it's apart of your journey He chose for you. ♥️ May God/Allah (Respect) continue to guide you. 🤗
Wow mama, you touched me when you said Allah wants you to do it alone for right now. I am born Muslim, from Atlanta Georgia, my mother was a convert at the age of 15. She grew up in an abusive home, with a father that nearly killed her. Just like you, she was praying in the bathrooms, but that is where she found solace, and everyday miracles. I would also say what’s important for an African American revert/born Muslim, is to found your tribe, because humans are gonna human, and just because they Muslim don’t mean they got some act right in them. 2: please please please don’t believe everything you are told by Muslims, you’ll learn your way around the Quran and the Hadith, but it take time. Some of these Muslims will use and sometimes manipulate your ignorance against you, so exercise the basics constantly.
😢😢😢I am sorry sister it's so sad may Allah continue to bless you and your husband. But please this message is for your husband" Assalamou aleykoum my senegalese Brother just take care to this beautiful and kind woman never separate to her I wish you and her the best life in your household🙏 be happy forever ❤"
Assalamo Alaikum sister 🤍 beautiful story. I’d love to meet you if you ever Visit Vegas 🙂 I love your energy. May Allah swt continue to keep us strong in deen !❤
I’m sorry, I had to pause at 7:00. You mean to tell me you decided to participate in Ramadan on your OWN????? You had no Muslim friends????? Girl… Allah has truly chosen you subhanAllah. Your story reminds me of my grandmother who also converted to Islam. You two are such beautiful women. To be so optimistic that you chose Islam for yourself by yourself... wow I’m so amazed and proud of you.
May Allah reward with Jannatul Firdaus for every test you experienced and continue to experience
